The three lied awake, consumed by their own thoughts. Harper lied awake wondering why Griffin would push Topher down the stairs. Griffin lied awake thinking of how soft Harper's lips looked and how he wished he could kiss them, and Savannah lied awake thinking about how her friends were doing.
Though in their own beds, they still pondered and prophesied together, 3 minds working as one. A well oiled machine. A shared energy. A force strong enough to stand the test of time, patience and anything else that comes their way.
