I lay on the metal slab as medics, pressed needles into my pale skin checking my vital signs. A miraculous recovery was the only phrase that could be used for the healing I had made, within an hour of internal bleeding. I bent my neck back and looked out of the frosted glass door, hoping to see the familiar form of Loki walk by it or even enter the room I was in. the medical staff, pumped saline into my system making sure that my organs where still working. I had been stripped bare of my bloody clothing and only left with a medical bay gown, which hung loose on my still bloody body. I looked up at the bright white lit ceiling as the medical staff exited the room once again allowing me to reminisce. Finally I looked down at my gown covered body to see the dark patches of caked blood underneath the thin piece of material.

Six needles in total had been pushed into my arms; some injected me with blood, others with drugs which kept me stable and docile. I gritted my teeth and pushed myself up on my punctured arms and looked at the blood covered metal slab beneath me. My arms where covered in dried blood, form the multiple bleeding pricks lining my arms; I looked at the hanging bags around me, and saw one containing dilute morphine. My numb fingers travelled over the plastic tubing which connected the morphine to my system and with numb and shaky fingers I pulled the thick metal needle from my arm with a small cry. I pulled each of the six thick needles from my arms, leaving small dots of fresh bright red blood to finally trail down my arms.

With unsure feet I stood on the cold blood dotted floor, i stumbled closer to my blood stiffened clothes, I quickly pulled on my clothing. I was in pain as the numbness of the morphine had begun to where off, with heavily feet I pulled my way through the empty corridors and towards my far away room. My now cold and tingling finger reached for the slim metal handle which would welcome me to a world of my own. I pushed the door open wide as I fell into my room, my body was shivering hard as I crawled across the solid floor, I was having withdrawal like symptoms to the dosage of morphine I was give. I leaned my back against the bottom of my bed; I sighed and allowed my eyes to finally shut.

My heavily lidded eyes opened to a surprising sight, Clint Barton standing in my door way. I pulled myself up from the hard floor and stood unsteadily,

“everyone’s looking for you Miss Davis, Loki particularly. I thought you might be here.” He smiled at me, I nodded and half smiled.

“Can I ask what time is it?” he stepped into my room and walked closer to my leaning form,

“yeah sure it is nearly two in the afternoon.” I shook my head and looked down at my now blood dried arms, I was finally hit by a wave of Hawkeye’s thoughts,

‘Jesus what did they do to her in there.’ I looked at his shocked expression and chuckled lightly,

“well I think the medics where a bit over zealous with the needles.” I shrugged and walked into the bathroom and began to rub away the dried blood from my arms,

“why is Loki looking for me?” Clint cleared his throat and answered me,

“well, I have no idea truthfully. He just seemed quiet angry when he found you missing.” I walked back into the small boxed room, and grabbed a black vest top my leather jacket and a new pair of jeans in purple. “

Oh, also the Steve was holding onto these for you.” He held out an arm to show my converse, my headphones, and my phone. I smiled lightly, at the bundle of my possessions in Clint’s hands. I quickly grabbed the bundle and walked into the bathroom to get quickly changed,

“Wait for me outside, I’ll walk with you.” He chuckled and walked outside of my room closing the door behind him. The cool thick leather slid over my bare arms, as I quickly exited the room with Clint Barton at my side. I slipped my headphones over my ears and quickly played one of my favourite songs, ‘my songs know what you did in the dark by Fall Out Boy.’ I smiled as my hips swayed as I walked down the hall way, suddenly I felt my stomach growl hard, I pulled away my headphones allowing Clint Barton to chuckle with an audience,
