I had known Luke most of our lives; we lived across the road from each other. We had grown up together. I loved Luke as a brother, nothing more. And he loved me as a sister. We had each others back in every situation.
Like today.
Today Luke was asking out the girl of his dreams, Alice. To be honest I was probably more excited than he was. I was on strict orders from Luke to let him do this by himself. I was just to wait for him and the answer.
So far I had been sitting on this bench for half an hour. My butt was numb.
I hear the thump of running feet. That would be Luke. Sure enough an ecstatic looking Luke runs towards me across the school grounds.
"SHE SAID YES!!!"
Luke swung me around in a fit of glee.
"Stop spinning me. Spend time with your girlfriend you numpty."
Luke nodded and quite literally skipped off.
