Chapter 28

Ashley's Pov.

We are currently sitted in a circle.

By we I mean Tyler, Aaron, Kailani, Melissa, Kylee, Noah, and myself.

No one else really wanted to join us so it's just us.

"How about.. we play never have I ever, but if you have done it, you have to take a shot," Melissa suggests.

My eyes immediately widen and Aaron seems to notice and understand because he says.

"Let's keep vinegar instead of alcohol. It will be much more fun."

"Thats actually a great idea," Melissa backs him up and so does everyone else.

I sigh in relief and look over to Aaron with a look of appreciation.

He nods before Kylee says, "Alright, let me go get vinegar. I'll be right back."

She returns quickly after a minute and starts pouring into small cups and places one in front of each of us.

"Okay, let me start. Never have I ever.. been in love with someone in this circle before.." Melissa says.

Everyone slowly picks up they cups and I'm shocked when Aaron picks up his.

It's probably Kailani considering she is also in this group.

Aaron takes it to his mouth and downs it without breaking eye contact with me.

My heart starts jumping up and down as I chug the disgusting liquid in my hands.

So does Tyler, so does everyone else.

And I'm pretty sure I know everyone's crush here.

"Okay me next, never have I ever.. lost my virginity before," Kailani says.

And I watch pathetically as everyone except of me, lift their cups and down their liquids.

After they do so, they all look at me.

Gosh is it so bad that I've never had sex before?

I ignore their stares which only last a moment before Melissa speaks.

"Hm, I'm getting bored.. how about we play Truth or dare instead?"

Everyone agrees and Melissa brings out a bottle and spins it.

It lands on me.

Ofcourse.

"Truth or dare, Ashley?" Melissa asks with a smirk.

I know better than not to reveal my secrets so with a deep sigh i say,

"Dare."

"Great, I dare you.. to go sit on Aaron's lap for maybe three minutes," She smirks.

Oh god.

No no no no no.

Please no.

"Melissa," Tyler says, a warning in his tone but Melissa pretends not to hear it.

"You have to do it." She presses.

I look over to Tyler for a look of approval and after a sigh, he gives it to me.

I don't know why he did.

Or why I'm doing this.

But all I know is that im finally eighteen.

So fuck it.

I stand up and walk towards Aaron who starts looking awfully uncomfortable.

I mouth a quick 'I'm sorry' before placing myself on his lap.

I start moving around trying to find a comfortable position when Aaron's hands grip my thighs.

"Stop moving around, stay in one position." He says, his voice harsh.

Suddenly I feel something between my thighs.

"Aaron, please empty your pockets," I whisper.

"My pockets are empty, love," He says.

And that's when the realization dawns upon me that the thing between my thighs is his growing length.

I mutter out a quick 'oh' not knowing what to say.

He smirks at me and my cheeks start heating up.

He squeezes my thighs one more time when Melissa says, "Your times up."

I almost wish it wasn't.

Almost.

Instead I get up from my spot and walk back to sit next to Tyler.

"You seemed to be enjoying that alot more than you should have," Melissa smirks.

"Go fuck yourself, Melissa," I snap.

She rolls her eyes at me to which I ignore.

I apologise in his ear and he shrugs it off saying 'It's okay.'

Melissa spins the bottle again and this time it lands on Aaron.

"Truth or dare?"

"Dare."

"I dare you, to kiss the prettiest girl in this circle," Melissa says as if expecting it to be her.

His eyes meet mine and for a split second I think he might kiss me but instead he stands up and walks over to Kailani and pulls her in and pecks her.

I don't know why, but my heart seems to ache.

I have no idea what's going on.

My mind and heart are at a constant war with eachother.

It's not that he doesn't find me the prettiest, but seeing him kiss her does something to me.

I ignore the fire in my heart as I watch Aaron return to his seat.

Once we are back in the full circle, the bottle gets spinned again.

After about an hour of wondrous dares and truths, we decide to cut the cake.

Most people left so now it's truly only the eight of us left.

I start cutting the cake as they sing a very sloppy birthday song.

I blow out my candles and wish for pure happiness.

Once I do so they hand me the knife and I start cutting pieces for us.

The cake is fully black, with black flowers.

On the inside though its white and it looks to me as the most delicious looking cake.

I put pieces of cakes in plates for everyone and we sit down back in our circle.

We are all tired, some of us drunk so we finish eating in quiet.

Once we finish eating, we put the plates away and go to watch a movie.

We put on Through my window one of my favourite movies.

And when an intimate scene comes on, I cant help but look at Aaron only to find him already staring at me.

And it is this very look that tells me.

I am slowly falling for Aaron.
