Chapter 11

Ashley's pov

"You kids go upstairs while I make dinner," Mrs Martinez says.

"Is there anything I can do to help Mrs Martinez? I love cooking!" I smile.

"No its alright and you can call me Ella," She says.

"No really I would love to help."

"It's okay, you can help some other time. I'm sure you would love to meet Aubrey."

"Who is Aubrey?" I ask.

"Me!" A small girl appears out of nowhere and crashes into me, hugging me tightly.

I'm guessing she is Aaron's little sister.

"Aww hi!" I greet and pick her up.

"Hi! What is your name?" She asks with a smile which shows the two gaps in her front teeth.

Adorable.

"I'm Ashley, Aaron's girlfriend."

"Ooo Teddy and Ashley sitting in a tree! K-i-s-s-i-n-g," She spells out.

Aaron and I both break into laughter and I plant a kiss on her cheek.

"Teddy is your nickname huh?" I ask looking at Aaron.

"Yes because he is like a bear," Aubrey says.

"You are so pretty," She remarks.

"Thank you! And you are so cute."

I put her down and we all head upstairs to Aarons room.

Aubrey goes away to her room to play with toys.

"If only you were as cute as your sister, man I'd have actually fallen for you," I tease.

"I'm not as cute as her because I'm cuter then her," He jokes.

"Haha nice joke!" I say to which he scoffs.

"I love my sister and my mother more then anything or anyone, they have always been loved me, for who I am."

I wish I had a family like him. Not to envy him at all, he deserves this, he is a really sweet guy.

"How old is she?" I ask.

"She is turning 7 next week. There will be a birthday party set for her, would you like to come?"

"Sure!" I say.

After a few minutes Aubrey comes running into Aaron's room.

"Ashley! Look what I made you and Teddy!" She says handing me a drawing.

The drawing consists of a box house and the corner sun, two stick figures with their hands connected one with short hair which I'm guessing a boy and the other long wavy hair. The figures are labelled 'Teddy' for the boy and 'Ashley' for the girl.

This is probably one of the cutest things ever.

I show the drawing to Aaron and we both are amazed at how cute it is.

"This is a great piece of art." I compliment.

"I have to agree, I need to stick this in my locker." Aaron says.

He wants a drawing of me and him stuck on his locker?

For some odd reason it made me blush although I'm sure that he won't actually stick it.

He will probably throw it away.

"Aw Ashley's blushing." Aubrey says.

"Falling for me already?" Aaron whispers in my ear.
