Vonne

The very next day, we went grocery shopping while Seraph's with my parents.

"I couldn't help but notice" I trailed as we were walking along the cereal section with my wife picking out boxes for us.

"What is it baby?" she asked as I watch her put the things in our trolley

I heaved a sigh

"Kitty's been acting all weird lately. Ever since she broke off her engagement with Kuya Rocco, she's been so secretive and always somewhere. Last night, I called her, and she sounds ragged, and I can hear shuffling in the background." I rant

"And what does that make you think?"

"I don't know babe. I mean if she's hooking up with someone, changes in her shouldn't be this huge. I heard one time she's talking to someone, and it sounded like a girl."

"Should that be a big deal?" she inquired

"Not at all. If anything, I am more than happy for her. But I barely see her now, she's always on the run and during family dinner, I know you notice this too, but her mind is always somewhere and when I try to shoot up a conversation with her, it's always short." I added

Me and Kitty have this strong bond despite growing apart for some years because of our age gap. But that did not matter when it came to sharing secrets between us. And having her acting like this makes me feel bad.

"Baby, maybe she's just dealing with some personal business that she wants to handle alone." Victoria countered, obviously trying to stop me from overthinking.

"I know, it's just that, it's weird when she's acting like that. I wanted to be there for her. She's been through a lot with no one by her side and right now, I wanted her to feel that I am available whenever she needs me." I sighed

"I know, baby girl. Let's just wait for her to open up. Your sister loves you so much, and she will tell you sooner, maybe when she's ready."

I sighed before nodding. Honestly, I am glad that I have Victoria now, she always makes me see things that I overlook and she things in a different perspective.

"Maybe I could ask Jelly about it, she's her secretary anyway and she must know something that--"

"Babe come on. I don't think your sister would appreciate you prying on her personal business." she cut me off almost in a rush making me scrunch my eyebrows.

I shrugged it off but there's a lurking gut in my stomach and it's bothering me. I was then pulled into a kiss, instantly washing away my worries.

"Don't over think about it, baby. She'll come around." Victoria assured
