Years went by and life was still the same. I wish I could say that, but it's not. After she left, everything went downhill for me. I was miserable and that's an understatement to say the least, everything felt lifeless.


I saw how she was dragged out of the football field when Dale proposed to me, to which I accepted. Blair, her friend gave me a death glare and I knew that she hated me from there and that, I absolutely understand.


Everything cleared up between me and Bianca when Blair stormed inside my house, we are all equally shocked and speechless from what Blair have told us


Flashback


Blair walked out and we were left with no words in our mouths, no one dared to talk first when Bianca decided to break the thick silence that covered us


"You were so lucky that she liked you, someone finally had taken interest in you that is capable of sticking with you but you had to mess that up"


I remained frozen from my spot letting her words gut through me


"I like her too, and I know you know that. It is something that came unspoken between us, but out of respect I stepped aside even if she was that first person that I actually liked for such a long time."


She's right, I've always known that she has feelings for Vonne but I didn't know that it was strong


"But when you told me that Dale came back, I suddenly wanted to take Vonne away from you. Because it's still the same. I know that you still won't have the courage to say no to him. You're still the coward I know"


The last sentence she spoke made a ringing sound in my ears, I suddenly felt blood coming up to my face. I spun to face her and harshly grabbed her by the collar


"Don't you dare call me that"


I said through gritted teeth, yes it may seem like that but I have my reasons


"Then tell me why you did that to her!"


This is the first time that I heard Bianca raised her voice at me or to anyone at that. She's always that soft and gentle person I know and to get her fired up like this means I really did something close to unforgivable


"Okay you two, calm down. You won't understand each other if you'll let anger speak for yourself"


Miranda got in between us, we all took a seat and calmed down.


"I-I-I love her"
