They smiled as the bus started..she was listening to songs while he was working on his laptop...a girl came and sat in between them..Haseena glanced at her and then looked outside..she was at the window seat..
Girl- Hi! (to AS)
AS- Hello..(awkwardly)..maaf kijiye humne apko pehchana nahi...
Girl- Kaise pehchanenge..maine toh sirf door se dekha tha apko..apki conference mein..main bhot badi follower hu apki..(clinging to him)
Haseena was noticing his face..he was feeling uncomfortable..
HM- Aa..Hello!
Girl- aap kaun?
HM- usse kya fark padta hai..aap rasta dekhiye..I think next stop apka hai..(Haseena had noticed the girl's ticket)
Girl- oh haan..jana padega..Bye Anu sir!
Anubhav nodded awkwardly and the girl went...Anubhav shifted himself beside her..
AS- Thankyou..bacha liya aapne..
HM chuckled- koi baat nahi..zaroori nahi har baar ladke hi ladkiyon ko uncomfortable feel karvayen...ulta bhi ho sakta hai...
AS- bilkul...vaise apka gantavya sthan kya hai?
HM- hamara toh last stop hai..abhi 2 ghante hain...aapka stop?
AS- hamara bhi aakhri gantavya hai..
HM- Oh..(smiled)
AS- aap kuch khayengi? (he said while removing a packet of chips from his bag)
She nodded in no..but he noticed her looking at the chips packet keenly..he smiled in mind and offered the packet to her..she looked at him and then at the packet..and finally had a chip..
HM- humara favourite flavor hai yeh..(she reasoned herself while munching on the chips)
AS- Par yeh toh sirf salted hain...(he smiled inwardly while she bit her lip)..yeh sab chhodiye, aap khane par dhyan dijiye..
She took the whole packet and started eating..he smiled foolishly looking at her..ome last piece of chips was remaining..she looked at him..
HM- aapko chahiye? (offering the piece)
AS- nahi, aap kha lijiye..(smiled)
She immediately put it in her mouth..
AS- itni bhuk lagi thi?
HM- haan..lunch ke baad kuch nahi khaya tha...
AS- kyun? (worried)
HM- bhul gaye the..
AS- khana kaise bhul gayi thi aap? Kamaal hai..(astonished)
HM- ab Ammi ki tarah lecture mat dena humein aap...(frowning)
AS laughed
They talked for some time..unknowingly they felt comfort in each other's company..they didn't realise when they reached the last stop...
AS- Chaliye...humdono ka gantavya sthal aa gaya..
HM- aap kahan rehte hain?
AS- Yahan se 10 km door..Tiara Residency mein..aap?
HM- hum Orchids Colony mein..yahan se 6 km door...
AS- apko taxi se drop kar dein hum?
HM- kyun..raat ke 2 baje akeli ladki pe daya aa rahi hai apko?🤨
AS- Nahi..woh 10 km akele bore ho jayenge..6 km tak aap sath hongi toh ek company mil jayegi na..(smilingly)..aur asha karte hain ab hum mitr bhi hain..(forwarded his hand)
She smiled and they shaked hands..he booked an ola and dropped her..he was secretly concerned for her as she was travelling alone at night..not because she was weak..but because a protective nature enveloped him when he thought about her....

HM- Ammi..(whined)
Ammi- chal ab..so ja jake..kitni baar mana kiya hai raat wali trip se mat aya kar..beta mahol safe nahi hota itni raat ko..
HM- kya Ammi..hum 2022 mein hain..woh bhi Mumbai mein...isse safe jagah koi nahi hai...aur rahi baat akelepan ki..toh humne raste mein ek dost bhi bana liya..
Ammi- Dost?
HM- ji..unka naam..(cut by Ammi)
Ammi- Accha baad mein bata dena..abhi baat karne baithe toh subah hojayegi..3 bajne wale hain..so ja jake..
HM nodded and went to her room...

Anubhav smiled and hugged her..he kissed her forehead..
AS- humne bhi bhot yaad kiya apko Maa...khaskar apke hath ke swadisht bhojan ko...
Maa- nahi sudhrega tu..3 saal baad bhi chatora hi hai..(she chuckled and hit his forehead)
AS- ab apke hath ke bhojan ke liye hum chatore toh hain...(smiled)
Maa- chal ab bhot makkhanbaazi ho gayi..ab jake so jaa..sau baar bola hai raat ko safar mat kar..puri dincharya kharab ho jayegi..par nahi..sunna toh hai hi nahi bhai sahab ko!(taunted)
AS- Kya maa..itne saalon baad bhi taane(frowned)
Maa- beta, teri biwi bhi aisi chunungi main..! fir hum dono saas-bahu milke taane marenge..(she said smilingly)
AS- Humse hamari iccha nahi puchhi jayegi?
Maa- bilkul puchhi jayegi..par tu mana nahi kar payega..kafi khubsurat hogi woh..
AS- Khubsurat bahar se adhik andar se zyada honi chahiye woh maa..aur ab apko deri nahi ho rahi?? 3 baj chuke hain..jaiye jake so jaiye..hum bhi jaa rahe hain..shubh ratri!

Maa/Ammi(at their homes respectively)- kal isse mauka dekh ke shaadi ki baat chalayenge...
