Chapter 31

Shyam made this brilliant plan. He first prepared fake legal notices and sent them to Mr. Gupta. Then called Aman acted as a shop owner. The rest went right according to his plan.

Flashback

"Hello Aman Ji, this is Mr. Sodhi speaking. I am one of the shop owners in MC Complex. The complex where Mr. Gupta, Arnav Ji's Father in law has his shop. We just received this eviction and building demolition notice from our landlord. I asked Gupta to talk to Arnav Ji but he wants to deal with this in his way. But I can't take a risk. So I found your number and called you to ask you to talk to Arnav Ji. I know how powerful he is and he is the only one who can help us now"

"Hello Mr. Sodhi, please email me the notices you received and I will talk to Mr. Raizada, don't worry we will sort this out"

Aman tried to call Arnav multiple times and finally, Arnav Answered the phone on his 5th attempt.

"Yes, Aman what is it? This is the 5th time you called. I have told you multiple times not to keep calling me. If I don't answer for the first time means I am busy. This better be something important or else you are fired"

"Sir, I just got a call from some Mr. Sodhi" and Aman explained the whole conversation.

"What? Are you sure? Aman listen, I'll call you in 5 mins. Don't do anything until I call you back"

Shyam saw Arnav leaving the party and how after a few minutes Khushi was following him. He quickly went to his room and took her name loudly so that Khushi can hear he was talking about her. He very well knew Khushi will eavesdrop.

"What, are you kidding me? Did that person tell Arnav whose shop was in that complex? I can't believe Arnav would order to demolish of the complex his father-in-law has in his shop. Khushi got married to Arnav thinking he'll provide her with all the luxury but he ended up taking away her father's only income. I can't wait to see her face after she gets to know it."

Then he witnessed the uncertainty and disappointment on her face and how she walked to her bedroom. Shyam also followed her to witness if the plan worked or not. Because this part is out of his control.

"Aman, do as I say. I will call Khushi's father and convince him. I am their son in law so, at the end of the day, he'll have to agree"

Arnav called Mr. Gupta.

"Hello, uncle Ji. Hope you all are fine. Yes, uncle. I am calling you regarding that."

"No uncle, listen to me. There is no other way and I am your son in law so I have the right and I will do this whether you agree or not"

Shyam knew he shouldn't let Khushi or Arnav talk to each other because that will clear up the misunderstanding. Therefore, he quickly called one of the house helps and asked him to ask Payal or Anjali to come and get these two for the cake cutting.

The plan was so far going according to his script. He was hoping Khushi to not join Arnav for the cake cutting given how angry she was or at least join a little later. Shyam planned to kill Arnav in that accident without giving Khushi a chance for confrontation. By the time she gets to know the truth, it will be too late.

But Arnav messed up the whole plan. He not only protected Khushi but managed to escape without a single scratch.

He slowly left the scene and hid behind a pillar.

However, what he didn't expect was for his two brothers-in-law to know his truth. This Means Arnav was there at Gupta's house on the wedding day. He is the same person who acted like Khushi's boyfriend. Shyam had to give it to Arnav. If Shyam is a mastermind, Arnav is the king of masterminds.
