"How are we going to do it?" Asked Akash.

"You said you don't want Shyam to know about the marriage so undoubtedly this is a perfect time. But we only have less than a week. It is impossible to complete all pre-wedding rituals within this time. And Di, she would want Shyam to attend the wedding so she will defiantly postpone the wedding ceremony." Akash continued.

"I know Akash. Khushi and I can simply go the court and have a court marriage but handling both families after that can be impossible.

That will even affect badly over your marriage. The only way I can think of is using you and Payal as the bait" said Arnav to Akash.

"But How?" Asked Payal.

"I will tell Di and Nani that I am falling for Khushi and decided to get married to her. Will take a little convincing but I am confident I can do it. They'll ask Khushi and she can agree." Khushi node agrees.

"Getting them ready for this marriage is the easy part. Then it comes all to you and Payal. You two must persuade the family to give up on the pre-wedding rituals and do the engagement in one day and wedding the other day without actually saying so." Arnav continued.

"Now I am confused" Poor Payal didn't know how to achieve what Arnav was asking.

"All this is fine Arnav Ji, but how are Di and Akash Ji going to persuade your family? I know my family. There is a high chance they won't be able to make it to the wedding. So no issue over there. But your family? Anjali Di will not let her brother get married just like that" This time, it was Khushi who raised her concern.

"Don't mind me when I say this," Arnav continued,

"But if your family won't be attending then that'll make this easier because we only have to deal with one family. Akash you book tickets to Paris or London or somewhere for both you and Payal. Book the tickets for next week. Do it now and then when you go home today, tell the family that you and Payal are going on your honeymoon trip next week. Do not let them know that you already know about my wedding. Make the booking for a week or two and don't worry, I will manage the business for a week or two. Now Payal, listen to me carefully. As soon as Akash share the news with the family you should start acting without giving them time to object and inform you about my wedding. Tell them how happy you are, how excited you are, how you always wanted to go that place etc, and make sure you make them feel so guilty that no one will dare to ask you guys to change the dates."

"How will we going on a vacation help you two to get married in less than a week?" Asked Akash. He, however, loves where the plan is going so far.

"Now comes my part. I will go to the priest and tell him how deeply I am in love with Khushi and how I do not wish to wait any longer to get married to her. Then ask him to tell Di that he compared our birth times and that this Wednesday is an auspicious time for the engagement and Thursday will be for the Wedding. Then there is another auspicious time next week then nothing for another year. I am sure he will do this favor for me because he would want the monthly donation to continue. I will convince Di not to choose the year later date saying I might change my mind if we wait one year. Given my history with the topic of marriage, this won't be hard."

"I am loving it so far Bhai," said Akash.

"Then the last straw and Khushi this is all up to you. I am sure they will be convinced by now. But will need a little more convincing to make sure nothing goes wrong. Khushi, you need to emotionally blackmail them. Tell them how your family cannot come to the wedding and you want your sister to be present at the wedding." Khushi smiled at Arnav thinking how smart he is.
