"Nani, I can't believe it is going to be 3 months for Chote and Akash. We need to plan something to surprise them. If someone told me 3 months ago that I will be planning Chote's 3 months wedding anniversary party I would have died laughing. So much has changed in 3 months isn't it?"

"Yes, Anjali. I always knew Akash will have his life sorted but Chote was a lost cause. I still can't believe he is married. Have you seen him, he is actually happy. I feel the old Chote is making his way back"

"Yes Nani, I also noticed how happy he is. He will never admit to the fact but Khushi is the best thing that ever happened to him."

Manu too agreed with Anjali and Devi. They have seen a different Arnav lately. He doesn't get angry much. His arrogant frown has been replaced by a sexy smirk. Everyone else noticed these changes other than Arnav himself.

During these 3 months, he had become more dependent on Khushi. "Khushi this, Khushi that, Khushi, where is my, Khushi, can you, Khushi will you" are the most used words in his vocabulary.

Khushi on the other hand couldn't be happier. Getting married to Arnav was the best decision she had taken ever. He was always there for her, every step of the way. He offered her a shoulder if she was upset, he protected her if she was afraid, and he made her laugh with his stupid arguments. Her love for him grew day by day. She has created this dream world where Arnav and Khushi are in love and every night she goes into that dreamland when she goes to sleep.

Their sleeping habit continued to stay the same. Every night Arnav will pull her towards him, Khushi will hug him and he will make sure not to miss the good night forehead kiss. It was like both of them goes into a different world at that time. Neither of them spoke about it in the morning.

Every morning Khushi would wake up before Arnav, and go to the kitchen to make his morning coffee. Arnav grew up with this habit of waking up to that coffee.

He no longer was up till early morning or woke up early morning, he came home on time, always had dinner with the family, slept on time, and only woke up when he can smell her coffee.

By the time he goes and has a shower Khushi took out his clothes, and his wallet and she always helped him to get ready. Then both of them will go and have breakfast together.

Khushi is now at a point where she no longer can hold on to the fact that she is in love with him. She did try a few times to tell him how much she loved him but always the fear of rejection stopped her.

Shyam didn't make any more efforts to attack Khushi. He wanted to give it some time and plan better before his next attack.

It was another ordinary morning when Arnav and Khushi joined the family for breakfast.

"Chote, Akash what have you planned for your better halves?"

"Plan? Di, what plan?

"Oh god Chote, don't tell me you forgot about next week?"

"What's next week Di?"

"Akash you too? I was hoping at least you would remember. I think you are spending too much of your time with Chote and looks like he is rubbing on you"

"Di, we are getting late for work, so are you going to tell us or shall we leave" Arnav was a little annoyed now.

He was a direct person, he would say what he wants to say without beating around the bush. So he expected others will do the same. His synonyms are clear, he speaks what he means.

"Relax Chote, no need for this angry young man drama. I was talking about your 3 months wedding anniversary. Have you both planned something for Khushi and Payal?"

"Oh shit, Di, I totally forgot. Thank you so much for reminding me. Payal would have killed me"

"What's the big deal Di, we got married and 3 months have passed. It's not something to celebrate." Said Arnav as expected by his family.

Anjali thought, her brother is many things but romantic is not one of them.

"God Chote, usually newly married couples look for a reason to spend more time together and you, not even making an effort"

"Di, you, yourself just told me it is going to be 3 months for our marriage. Now you are telling me we are newly married. What is it Di, make up your mind?"

"Just forget about it Chote, I am not going to waste my energy arguing with you."

That's when Khushi and Payal entered the dining room with breakfast.

"Di, Khushi, and I were thinking we should plan a party. You are nearly done with your first trimester and we thought we should celebrate it"

Arnav and Akash looked at each other. Anjali's first trimester is nearly done so it's time for them to activate their "operation exposing Shyam".

'Aw, thank you both. I was also telling Nani that we should throw you guys a party. It is almost 3 months for you as well"

"I have an idea. Why don't we have a big party to announce Anjali's pregnancy and to celebrate Arnav and Akash's 3 months wedding anniversary" Manu was excited.

"We love the idea Mami" Khushi, Payal, and Anjali were excited.

"But Anjali, do you know when Shyam is back? We can't have this party without him" Devi was worried.

She noticed Shyam spent very less time at home recently. He always had some sort of excuse for not coming home. His wife is pregnant and he should be spending more time with her, instead, he is busy god knows where. Devi thought it was high time she have a word with Shyam.

"He will be back tomorrow Nani. He promised me that he will spend the next 3 months with me. No more out-of-the-city assignments"

That alarmed Arnav. Shyam was being particular. The next 3 months mean he must have something up on his sleeves. They'll need to be more careful from now onwards.

Shyam never did anything without a plan. His every move was calculated. However, the plus point was now they will have a chance to catch him red-handed.

"Khushi, can you come? I need your help with something" saying that Arnav left the dining table.

"Khushi, hats off to you. It looks like my brother even can't breathe without your help now." Anjali teased.

Khushi quickly smiled back and followed Arnav. She knew his tone, and this tone means business.

"Arnav Ji, is everything ok?

"Khushi you heard Di right? I have a bad feeling. I feel like Shyam has a big plan."

"You are scaring me Arnav Ji"

"Khushi, I am stating the fact. Otherwise, why would he promise Di that he will spend the next 3 months with her? That was very specific. We'll have to be extra careful now."

"I understand Arnav Ji"

"Make sure the room doors and the poolside doors are always locked. No matter what never leave them open. I will ensure the study room is locked and lock your old room for extra precaution. Whatever his plan is, it must be something bigger than we expect"

Arnav's intuition was correct, this time Shyam has planned a larger-than-life attack.
