Lincoln was alone in the classroom with his head down on the table.

Lincoln felt someone tap on him before he looked up to see Sindy.

Lincoln: what do you want?

Sindy: you know it's lunch time, right.

Lincoln: what does it matter, I didn't bring any lunch.

Sindy: you can have some of mine if you want.

Lincoln: why are you being so nice, you don't ever know me.

Sindy: I want to know you.

Lincoln got up.

Lincoln: leave me alone, okay.

Lincoln walked away.

...

Lincoln was alone sitting on the floor by himself before a shadow came over him making him look up.

Lincoln: ugh.

Sindy: you're skipping class.

Lincoln: I don't care.

Sindy: you look like you're in pain

Lincoln: what do you know.

Sindy: do you know what I see when I look at you?

Lincoln: ...

Sindy: ...

Lincoln: well what?.

Sindy: a sad and scared little boy.

Lincoln just stared at her not sure what to say.

Sindy: you were bullied, you look like you can't tell your parents about it, and even if you did they wouldn't listen, with your bullies gone you won't get any attention, I'm I right?

Lincoln look at her before slowly trying to fight back his tears, before crying out.

Sindy: it's okay you can cry all you want, I'll wait.

Lincoln eventually stopped crying before his stomach started to greal..

Sindy: here.

She handed Lincoln a paper bag.

Sindy: I hope to get to know you better.

...

Sindy was in line looking for her money, before someone handed the lunch lady the money before Sindy turned to see Lincoln.

Lincoln: it's on me.

Sindy: thanks.

Lincoln: no problem.

Lincoln went and sat with his friends.

Lincoln: hey guys.
