CHAPTER 22.

Kyrie walked inside her father's workplace with a smile on her face, Amiri his lunch in her hand as she pressed the elevator button.

It was his first workday, and she was excited for him so she decided to surprise him with lunch, he had been texting her telling him how much of an experience it is to actually look into the business world.

The elevator arrived at the office floor, and she got out, she remembered that he texted her he had his own office, and she went to find it.

Finally stopping in front of the big door, she knocked.

She heard a soft 'Come in' and opened the door, seeing her handsome boyfriend with his suit. She smiled at him, his eyes widened as he didn't expect for her to stop by.

"What are you doing here ?" He wondered, she placed the bag with foot on his desk and walked around. Amiri pushed his chair backwards and turned to her with his lap.

He patted his right leg, and she sat down on her seat.

"I brought you lunch for your first workday, my businessman." She whispered his ear, taking his earlobe between her teeth.

"You just came for lunch ?" He smirked touching her leg and teasing his way up.

"Yes, don't get anything inside your head. My dad is in the same building, and you need food to keep your brain working."

"I need your pussy to keep my brain working." He mumbled, but she heard him and gasped, playfully pushing his chest.

"Watch it, you horn dog." She joked.

She leaned forward to get the food out of the bag. She got her burgers out and his, his mouth watered and his stomach rumbled.

"You hungy huh?" She smirked before giving him his burger.

"Thank you baby, you are the best." He smiled and immediately dug in.

"Slow down, don't choke." She chuckled at how eager he was eating, she got him his drink before she went to start on her own food.

"So how has it been so far ?" Kyrie asked.

"It has been cool, they showed me around. I was kinda disappointed the factory and shit where they make their computer products isn't even in America." Amiri shook his head.

"Isn't that with almost every company ?"

"Yes, that's why it's fucked up. If I didn't need the money or the experience I wouldn't work here. But I can't become a big business in the future if I don't have the experience because besides experience I'm not born in a rich family nor do I have a lot of money. But for myself, I wouldn't stay here if I had the money." He shrugged.

"How come ?"

"Because big companies like this have their factory's in Third World countries where people work for basically no money. I'm talking about people who barely make 23 dollars at the end of the month. And if they got factory's somewhere in America it is immigrants or people like from the place we came from who don't have a choice working in there for a low income and risking their lives. I don't want that if I have my own company I want everybody to have a fair chance, I want to know the name and birthday of my janitor and I want to have factory's here in America where people work for a good income." Amiri was dreaming big, but his plans weren't unreachable especially with what he is doing now in life.
