Batman and Robin were still protecting Rose in Commissioner Gordon's office.
Robin was holding his daughter, terrified of the fact that it might have been intended for the safe to land on her.
He felt his insides relax when the Three Warriors returned with the evidence.
"Well?" said Commissioner Gordon.
"We found him. He's guilty" said Charles Wallace.
"It was Benedict?" said Batman.
"Yeah. Just as I suspected. But he wouldn't tell us his actual plan. He's always been a tough nut to crack" said Sam.
"Yeah. And he got so heated, he just raced away in his disgusting, loud black car saying we haven't seen the last of him" said Charles Wallace.
"But why would he give the commissioner a fake parking ticket then drop a safe on the Boy Wonder's daughter?" said Chief O'Hara.
"That's what I'd like to know. What on earth was the point of that charade?" said Commissioner Gordon.
"Obviously to lead us to a false crime before he kills Rose" said Sam.
"Kills me?" said Rose.
"Holy homicide!" Robin cried.
"If Rose is involved in this crime, the Penguin must be waddling around somewhere" said Batman.
"But why?" said Rose.
"Because the Penguin is the reason you exist, Rose" said Calvin.
"Papa... is this true? The reason I exist is because of something bad?" said Rose.
"I'm afraid so, sweetie. You see... when Batman and I were in Actorville, those cruel villains attacked the place and the Penguin shot off a magic gas from his umbrella and put you in my tummy" Robin explained.
"Then why did you keep me if I'm secretly a criminal?" said Rose.
"Rose, you're my daughter. And I love my daughter, Penguin or no Penguin. And you are no criminal to me" said Robin.
"But if this is a plot against Rose, we'll bash Benedict brutally" said Batman.
"We'll get him" said Calvin.
"We'll fix him, Batman" said Charles Wallace.
The Warriors rushed out the door.
Batman was about to follow, but Robin said "Wait, Batman".
"What is it, old chum?" said Batman.
"The criminal behind this is someone she knows... and Sam didn't make this harder for herself" said Robin.
"Robin... I'm afraid you might have feelings for the girl. She never finds it hard to bust a criminal" said Batman.
"Feelings? I can't have feelings for a married girl" said Robin.
"You can't control your feelings, old chum. Wether she's married or not... you're in love" said Batman.
"I can't believe that, Batman; she and I have both been through too many relationships" said Robin.
He sang about his unknown feelings.
If there's a prize for rotten judgement
I guess I've already won that
No girl is worth the aggravation

Batman: Who do you think you're kidding?
