RAYANNE ARRIVED HOME IN THE EARLY MORNING AFTER, exhausted from the night before. It was about six in the morning and she made sure to enter the house quietly.

Although, Rayanne hadn't known that her brother would be up this early, much to her surprise when she entered the kitchen. "Oh god, you scared me."

There stood Ricky, eating an omelet that Rayanne assumed he had just made. "Oh, yeah." he spoke with his mouth full. Rayanne had cringed at this, which caused him to quickly swallow his food. "You want any?"

Rayanne nodded and she grabbed a fork from the drawer, digging in to the omelet that Ricky was eating. "You know, I was gonna make you another portion but I guess you'll have to share your dinner."

"Well, I didn't know that!" She reasoned.

He laughed. "I was just kidding." The two siblings continued to eat their omelet. Ricky broke the silence. "So, Valentine's Day. You got a boyfriend yet, kid? Girlfriend?"

"No, do you?" She fired back, causing him to punch her shoulder. "Have you met anyone yet?"

"Yeah," He answered. "I got this coworker. She's really sweet. Not only that, but she has a sense of humor."

"Well, I guess I have to meet her sometime." Rayanne smiled to her brother. She was glad that he was finally getting out there. He had kept to himself throughout middle school and high school, afraid that anything he said would cause him to be titled the 'outcast' in school. He lost either way, because keeping quiet only labeled him as the 'weird loner' kid.

"Have you got anyone in mind?" It was Ricky's turn to ask his sister. She tilted her head. "It's complicated."

She continued, "There's this girl I like and I'm pretty sure she likes me back. Thing is, she doesn't really know either. She questioning things."

"That's alright." Ricky patted her shoulder. "At least we've got each other."

"It's a bond unbreakable," She added, "Unfortunately."

"You suck."

"You love me." Rayanne spoke with a shit-eating grin.

THE GLEE CLUB WAS ALL SAT IN THE CHOIR ROOM, Finn stood before them in the center of the room. He was holding an envelope of cash. "Well, I did it."

"I kissed every girl in this school, and raised three hundred twenty four dollars for the Glee Club." He concluded.

Finn seemed a little under the weather. Just by the looks of it, he looked like he stood out in the rain for hours.

"All right, Finn. Thanks." Mr. Schue spoke. "That'll pay for half a ticket to Nationals. So, still a long way to go."

Finn went to his seat. "Now I believe it's time to hear what the world's greatest love song means to Ms. Tina Cohen-Chang. Come on up."

Tina made her way front in center. "This is for you, Mike. Happy Valentine's Day."

She began to sing "My Funny Valentine" made by Richard Rodgers. She started off strong, but then she began to sob.

Apparently, she must've been so overwhelmed. "I'm so overcome with love."

"Okay. Wow, that was," Mr. Schue started. "Powerful." He made his way to Tina and Mike. "Almost too powerful."

"I love you, Mike." Tina sobbed.

"Mr. Schue can I be excused? I don't feel well." Finn spoke.

"Me, either." Quinn perked up. "I feel sick."

"Let me guess." Santana started. "You have a sore throat, and your glands are swollen, and you're feverish."

"Yeah, which is why I need to go to the nurse."

"It sounds like you have mono. Otherwise known as the kissing disease. But you know what really helps spread it? A little tongue." She seemed to know a lot on the matter, much to Rayanne's inquisition. "Which is weird, because it sounds like Quinn here has it, too."

"I was there when they kissed. It was just a peck." Sam explained.

"So, what about we stop talking about tonguing," Quinn got up from her chair, "and Finn and I go to the nurse?"

They both started walking to the exit of the choir room. Santana shouted towards them, "You know what? I think that is a capital idea!"

After they left, Rayanne leaned towards the brunette. "Did you really?" The girl didn't even have to elaborate when the other girl responded with a "Mm-hm."

IT WAS THE NIGHT OF VALENTINE'S DAY AND RAYANNE still hadn't found anyone to spend it with. That was until, she had met with Santana at Breadstix when the Glee Club agreed to all spend their night there for Valentine's and to support Kurt with the Warbler's. She had sat down with the girl and started, "I'm sorry that you and Puck didn't work out."

"It's fine," She responded. "I'm sorry I completely blew you off."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, I just didn't really acknowledge you at all this week. I think I was trying not to let myself feel bad. I know we both agreed on this but I can't help but feel guilty." Santana explained. And she truly meant it.

Rayanne smiled towards her brunette friend. "That's okay, 'Tana. It's fine with me. By doing this, I'm keeping you safe and that's all I can ask."

"I know." She smiled back. "I hope it's okay with you that I still date other guys. I'm still experimenting and trying to figure things out."

Rayanne felt her stomach drop. She didn't think she'd be upset by this, considering she had done this with Puck, but she still didn't want to upset the girl. "Yeah. Of course."

"All right. So, Happy Valentine's Day, everybody." Rayanne heard Kurt speak over the speakers. He was stood at the makeshift stage with the Warbler's. The attention was turned to them. "For those of you Breadstix patrons who don't know who I am, I'm Kurt Hummel, and welcome to my first ever Lonely Hearts Club dinner."

He continued, "Whether you are single with hope, or madly in love, and are here because I forced you to come out and support me, sit back and enjoy. And to all the singles out there, this is our year."

The Warbler's started to perform "Silly Love Songs" by Paul McCartney. During the performance however, Rayanne had seen Santana turn to Sam and waved. Rayanne felt a sick feeling in her stomach.

Rayanne knew that Sam was probably going to be another fad, but she couldn't help but feel jealous. Shouldn't Santana be dating her? Experimenting with her?

This Valentine's Day, Rayanne had promised to focus more on loving herself rather than loving someone else.

Santana was just the exception.
