It's been a week since I left RB.. It's been hard bc Taliyah keeps asking when we're gonna go see him. I don't know how to tell her he hurt me and we won't see him no more.
But seeing her cry for him makes me think i was wrong for leaving.. i'll always put my daughters happiness before mines. I honestly do really love Rahsaad despise all the abuse. I've been with him since I was 15, he's all I know.. plus he's the father of my child. I can't just let him go.
A knock on the door snapped me out my thoughts. " Uh come in " I said & eli entered " We both on the schedule tonight and i'm about to go get some chic-fil-a want anything ?" he asked.
" No , im good." I said handing him money "But can you get Taliyah some nuggets and macaroni please " I asked. He stared at me for a moment and laughed. " What's funny?" I asked.
" You " he said. " what's funny about me ? " I asked. " You thinking you gotta pay for her food. " he paused. " youn gotta pay when you under my roof, just keep it so you can get ya own place " He said.
" Th-thank you " I said. " It's no problem " he said walking out. Rahsaad always wanted something from me. Somebody not wanting something from me is a weird feeling.
I looked at my arms and face, then I lifted my shirt up viewing the bruises I had from last week. He beat me up bad. Just then Taliyah and Lani came into the room. I hurriedly put my shirt down and looked at them
" Hey liyah baby " I said crouching to her level wincing from my bruises. " Hi mommy , me and tt lani drawed this for you " she said holding up a picture of me and her " Aww it's beautiful baby , i love it " I said as i grabbed it.
she placed her hand on my face. " mommy what wrong with you face " i grabbed her hand & said " i wasn't paying attention at work and ran into a wall , mommy's okay baby " then i stood up.
" let's go get you ready for bed " I said guiding her to our guest bathroom. I was stopped by Lani who was showing me i had yet another message from RB.
