Jennifer slid under Byron and knocked him off his feet.

"Oops." She joked as Byron got up for the ninth time.

"Just give up." Kansas shouted to Byron as she was lounged on the grass sitting, next to Finnick and Jonah. Byron pointed a rude gesture to Kansas as if he was trying to say to her, no way am I giving up, but one kick to the stomach and Byron quickly groaned,

"That's it, I'm done." Jennifer walked over to the rest of the group and started to eat an apple as Byron limped over as he held his stomach. His forehead was bleeding from a small wound. Byron winced as he touched the cut. He looked at Jennifer with puppy-dog eyes until Jennifer said,

"Ugh fine." She clicked her fingers and a wet cloth appeared in her hand.

"Come on." He limped over and sat on the rock next to her. She dabbed the cloth on his head.

"You know there's a simple way to not get hurt." He winced at the sting and said,

"What is it?" Jennifer chuckled and said,

"Maybe don't challenge me. Let's start with that." He laughed but then winced again.

"Sorry." Jennifer apologized as she dabbed his head.

"We should set up camp. It's getting dark." Jonah said, looking at the twilight sky. Jennifer got up and stomped her foot twice. Rumbling came from the earth as it came, tents made of rocks and grass came from the ground.

"Thought you guys might want to be covered in case it rains."

"Thanks." Kansas said, trying not to act amazed but Byron gaped when he saw the tents.

"Finally we have tents!" He cheered but Kansas crossed her arms.

"Byron, you forgot to pack the tents!" Byron rolled her eyes and said,

"Whatever. We all know you're just jealous of Jennifer's magic."

"Said who?!" Jonah held in a chuckle as Kansas glared at him.

"Honestly Kansas is getting knocked down and now Jennifer is the most powerful in the group." Finnick added.

"It doesn't matter." Jennifer said, "We all know I've had a lot more practice at magic." Kansas crossed her arms and grumbled as silence filled the group until Finnick spoke up and said,

"So which tent is boys and which is girls?"

Jennifer sat outside of her tent, she watched the stars and moon dance in the sky and shine brightly onto her face. She took a deep breath in and held her hands out. A small golden flame appeared over her hand but it faded quickly. She tried snapping her fingers but nothing happened.

"No. No no no!" She said, snapping her fingers but the flame had disappeared forever. Suddenly Jennifer felt a hand on her shoulder. She grabbed it and twisted it tightly and got up to attack.

"Ow ow ow!" She could see Byron's face lit in the moonlight.

"Sorry, natural reflex." Jennifer said, wiping away a tear. Byron sat down next to her.

"What's wrong?" He questioned.

"Nothing." She answered quickly.

"Well that's a lie." He replied as he watched another tear roll down her face. He went to wipe it off but she swatted his hand and said,
