"We're lost." Kansas rolled her eyes at Byron's comment

"We're not lost, we're just... Ok yeah we're lost." They sat in silence listening to the flowing stream run. They had traveled for a day and a half non stop. Eventually Bryon couldn't go any longer.

"I wonder what's taking Jonah so long." Kansas said, looking in the direction of Murdon, the town a few yards away. Jonah had gone into the town to collect supplies and also to see if he could arrange a room in an inn. He had left them a few hours ago and still hadn't come back.

"He probably left us." Byron snapped. Kansas swatted her brother.

"Ow." He rubbed his arm as she threw his bag to him,

"Let's go find out what happened." She put the dragon egg in her bag and was holding her sword tightly that was attached to a belt. Byron put his water bottle in his bag and stood up from the rock he was sitting on. They could see the chapel in Murdon over the treetops.

"It looks pretty far away." Kansas said. "Maybe I could magic us there." Byron rolled her eyes.

"Kansas, I don't trust you with magic right now."

"Why not?!"

"After the thing you have done I don't trust you. We can walk." Byron said as he began to stride to Murdon. Kansas sighed and followed her brother, hoping the walk would only be a few minutes. They walked for half an hour before they reached the town.

"Well that was hard." Byron panted.

"We walked for less than an hour." Kansas replied. They walked past villagers and houses, many were turned into shops on the ground floor. Kansas asked around but nobody had seen Jonah. Kansas suddenly passed by a mail store on her way back to Byron. She stopped outside and said,

"Byron, stay here. I have a letter I want delivered."

"Who are you sending letters to? Finnick?" Byron said, raising his eyebrows. Kansas rolled her eyes and opened the door.

Once she got inside she smelled cinnonnmen, she breathed in the spice reminding her of her home. As Kansas walked up to the counter, a young man turned around and faced her. He smiled as he said,

"Well hello, you're the first customer." His dimples seemed to spread across his face, his messy blonde hair that somehow was stylied so perfectly yet it wasn't. Kansas walked up to the counter and said,

"Does that mean I get a prize?" He chuckled and placed an arm on the counter,

"How can I help you?"

"Is it true you can deliver messages? By hand?" He nodded and joked,

"How else do you think we would do it? Magic?" She chuckled and began looking at the different letter sizes.

"Do you have paper and a quill so I can write my letter?"

"That's not how it works. You're supposed to give us the letter ready to be sent but since you're the first costume I'll let it slide this time." He handed her a piece of paper and a quill. Kansas wanted to write everything down but she didn't know how to start.

Dear Mother, Father and Marcus,

I hope you are doing well considering the last events of the month. I am so sorry I wasn't able to write back to you for a few weeks. I almost cried but where I am, which happens to be in Murdon, which is very safe. It's a very nice town and I promise I'll come home soon. I can't tell you everything otherwise that would be jeopardizing the mission. I am safe and don't worry Byron is safe with me. We have made a new friend, his name is Jonah and I trust he knows what he's doing. He is really kind and is a good person. I miss you miserably but I will be home soon. I must go now I love you so much,
