Dragons: The Nine Realms (Jun Wong x male reader)

Recap:

Thunder & Switchblade suddenly growled at something

"What is it bud/pal?" Ryu & Tom ask their respective dragon.

They all saw some broken gems all over the floor

"Wow, did the quake knock those down?" Jun asks Ryu & Tom.

"I fear it wasn't the quake, but the thing that made that hole." Ryu says pointing at a big open hole that looked like a drill went through it.

Suddenly all the dragons started snarling, growling, screeching and Switchblade readied his spines. And they all looked at each other concerned

"Look at the size of that hole." Ryu says, looking at it and flies closer to it with Thunder and it was even bigger than him.

"It's like something burned its way through. Like a machine." she tells them.

The dragons kept growling at it

"Or maybe it was a dragon?" Ryu suggests.

"You're saying a dragon did all this damage?" she asks flying next to him.

"Well the only dragons I've read about that can make tunnels like this are the Whispering Death and the Screaming Death. Which would be bad news in itself." Ryu explains to them. "But it could also be an entirely new dragon." he finishes.

"Yeah, so let's get outta here before it comes back." Tom says to them.

They started flying again to the entrance/exit of the Hidden World

After a while of flying they all heard a small growl

It sounded like a dragon in pain, so they flew the dragons in place as they looked around for the source

"You heard that too, right?" Tom asks Jun.

Suddenly, Jun pointed at something

"Ryu, Tom! Look!" she calls out to them.

They looked closer and saw a smaller Gembreaker dragon

"It's another Gembreaker." she clarifies.

"That one looks hurt." Ryu says. "Come on. Maybe we can help." he says and flies towards it.

He ignores his brother's and Jun's pleas to wait as he lands near the dragon and starts walking to it

Jun grabs Ryu by his shoulder turning him around

"Kullersen! Gembreakers are not friendly, remember?" she reminds him through gritted teeth.

He put his hand on her wrist pushing her hand off his shoulder

"I remember. Me & my brother just fought off 3 of them, like a bit more then 5 minutes ago." Ryu tells her. "But, I can't leave an injured dragon alone." he adds, gesturing to the dragon. "Can you" he asks her rhetorically.

Ryu slowly started walking toward the small Gembreaker

Thunder ran towards him, bit down on Ryu's hoodie and pulled him back

Ryu looked back at Thunder and saw him looking at Ryu with worry in his eyes

"I couldn't leave you trapped under those rocks either, now could I, bud?" Ryu says in a matter of fact tone to him. "I know you're concerned, but trust me. I got this." he finishes.
