MELODY DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO TELL THE POGUES, the four of them had called and texted. She pressed jj's contact and put the phone to her ear. He answered almost immediately,
"melody, where the hell are you?" he questioned and she could hear him shushing the others.
"out of town" she answered, blankly
"for how long? is jake okay?" jj asked, melody smiled.
"a few days and yeah hes okay" melody looked over to jake and ari, they were playing with her dolls.
"are you still in north carolina?" she heard pope ask.
"uh ..no"
"mel are you guys safe?" john b added
"yeah yeah.. were good" melody replied, mark came home from the store.
"i gotta go, i talk to you guys later" melody said.
"bye mel"
"who was that?" mark asked, putting groceries away,
"my friends" she said and he raised his eyebrow asking, "do they know?", "i didnt tell them anything, just that were out of town and were safe."
