"Can we talk? ...Please?"

"No. Go away. I already know the deal. We're done, so lea-"

"...What do you want?" I fully open the door.

The moment I do, Mikey instantly latches onto me in a tight hug.

"Mike-"

"I'm so sorry, Mare."

"..."

"For not listening to you, for scaring you, and for...hitting you."

"...You didn't hit me on purpose. I shouldn't have gotten in the way, let alone even come to that fight. I knew what would happen, and I still went. So this is all on me..."

Mikey looks right into my eyes. Tears were beginning to form again, stinging my eyes.

"I know what's going on, so don't say it. Okay? I just...can't bear to hear you say it... It would hurt too much."

"Can we at least be friends?"

"Your song. Kenny told me you wrote it about me."

I blush.

Reaching into his pocket, he pulls out the promise ring. It was then I notice he was wearing his.

"I still want that future with you. The one we promised. I want to put an actual ring on your finger. I want us to have a bunch a children together. We'll live in our own place and have a peaceful life. I want all that so badly."

"So...will you take me back? ...Please?"

A smile forms on my lips.

"Yes."

Taking my hand, he slides the ring onto it.

"Thank you... I really don't deserve you."

I hug my boyfriend tight.

"Silly... It's the other way around."

"Did you make up yet?"

I look at the door to find to find Draken, Emma, Takemichi, Hina, and Mitsuya. I hide my red face in Mikey's chest.

"Why are they here?"

Mikey chuckles.

"They only came to make sure I'd see you."

"I'm so happy for you, Mare~."

"We saw, and heard, everything, Homi~."

My face heats up more.

"Stop teasing me, you two~."

"I'm glad you two made up." Mitsuya grins.

"Yeah!" Takemichi adds. "We should celebrate!"
