GIO'S POINT OF VIEW

I lazily stood up from the bed when I heard a loud and impatient knock on my cabin door.

Sinong nilalang ang hindi makapaghintay na mapagbuksan ng pinto? As far as I heard, unang katok palang niya iyan ah.

"Who--?" Nabitin ang tanong ko nang sinalubong niya ako ng mabilis na halik sa labi.

"Good morning, hot ass." Amanda's on it again, mercilessly destroying my principles.

"Good morning. Why are you here?" I politely asked ignoring the kiss. Again.

"Tada!" Tinaas niya ang lunch box na hawak niya.

"Nagdala ako ng ulam. Can I come in?"

"No."

"Thank you." Napairap nalang ako nang hinawi niya ako at pumasok.

Great! This is the first time I let a person disrespect my decisions like this. Only an Amanda Robles can do that. How wonderful. Note the sarcasm please.

"Amanda, hindi ka pwedeng basta-basta nalang pumapasok nang walang pahintulot." Sabi ko habang sinusundan siyang patungo sa table.

"Yes, yes. I shouldn't. Unfortunately, I just did." Hinarap niya ako, "come on. Eat your breakfast."

Hindi ko siya sinunod. I just stood there, looking at her plainly.

"Here's the deal. Kakainin mo ang dinala ko, at aalis na agad ako." She offered.

"Okay. Makakaalis ka na." Mabilis na tugon ko at naglakad na ako palapit sa lamesa.

"You really want me gone, huh." She scoffed. I motioned my hand to the door na ikinairap niya. Sa huli ay nawala na rin siya sa loob ng cabin na parang hindi siya galing dito, maliban nalang sa lunch box na may lamang pagkain na nakalapag sa lamesa ko.

Napailing nalang ako at sinunod ang napag-usapan namin. To eat the food she brought.

[GIO, I CALLED to ask where did you put the file for the Gomez Enterprises? Hindi mahanapan ng sekretarya mo.]

"Hayaan mo akong bumalik diyan, ako ang maghahanap para sayo."

[No way. Stay there as we agreed.]

Napabuntong-hininga ako at lumabas sa terrace. "I never agreed to this."

[No one dragged you there, man. Ikaw mismo ang nagpunta diyan. Bilang tumawag na rin ako, kakamustahin nalang din kita. How's the vacation, Ignacio?] I roamed my eyes on the wide beach in front of me. The view is relaxing, yes.

"It's--" naputol ang dapat na sasabihin ko nang magawi ang mga mata ko sa katabing terrace. What the...? My jaw dropped when I saw a woman on the other terrace, lying on a beach bed, almost naked. My blood instantly boil by the sight of it.

"I need to go."

[Wha-- hey, Gio--]

"Amanda!" Napamulat siya ng mga mata at tinignan ako. She then waved her fingers at me like she's not doing anything wrong.

"Why are you naked?!" My anger's visible on my voice. But the woman didn't care at all. She just chuckled like she's enjoying every bit of my reaction.

"I'm sun bathing. And I'm not naked, Mister. I have panties on." Her smile made me more irritated.

"Your breasts are in full view!" I hissed while looking at our surroundings. Wala pang masyadong tao sa paligid. Pero hindi siya basta-basta makikita ng mga tao since nasa terrace nga.
