Even tho you clearly see the dams in my eyes breaking and leaking at every seam
Even as rivers carve themselves into my cheeks
I'll tell you I'm fine even if you can hear the sounds of my heart shattering in a room made of silence
I'll tell you this even if my body is mimicking the world most catastrophic earthquake
I'll tell you I'm fine in hopes you'll listen with your ears and let your mind believe the lie
I'll tell you I'm fine in hopes you ignore the light in my eye that dims by the minute or the voice that leave my throat sounding like a vase hitting the floor
