The wind has changed the sorrow began you say you love me but your actions show fault in your words you say you care but your actions ring louder and louder by the day.
My love for you has run so dry it envies the desert. The wind has changed and the sorrow grows stronger you say your trying but you have stayed the same my patience runs thin and the door to my freedom has begun to open.
The wind has changed for the final time and I am no longer around to hear your grievances and watch your alligator tears drip one by one pulling the cords to my guilt making my heart dance for you.
The door opened and I stood and watched as the birds chirped and the flowers bloomed I chose my freedom over your dull cage.
The wind finally change and I have never breathed fresher air thank God for the changing winds.
