It's been a week since Y/n heard the conversation between Maria and Vinnie. She's been ignoring his every text and call. He had gone to her house multiple times, but her mom knew she didn't want to see him so she always made up things to make him leave. Y/n was mad at Vinnie she just didn't want him to actually move over there. She didn't know what she should do. She loves Vinnie.

Y/n knew she had to talk to Vinnie and figure out what was going go happen. It was currently 9 pm so she figured Vinnie would be home from baseball by now.

"Are you sure you want to go."

"Yeah I need to talk to him"

"Okay come on. I'll take you and wait in the car to bring you back"

"Thanks Ben"

Ben and Y/n were on their way to Vinnie's. Y/n was thinking of what to say when she saw him.

Ben- Don't think too much about it

Y/n- You noticed?

Ben- It's going to be fine. Even if he does leave, he won't do it just because. I'm sure he's thought about it.

Y/n- Yeah I guess so

They were outside of Vinnie's house and Y/n slowly gets off the car.

Ben- I'll be waiting

She walks to the door and knocks.

The door opens and reveals Maria

Maria- Hi sweetie

Y/n- Hi

They give each other a hug and let's her in.

Maria- Vinnie is in his room

Y/n- Thank you

Y/n walks slowly to the door and knocks

Vinnie- Mom I said I didn't want to ta-

He opens the door to reveal Y/n and quickly hugs.

Vinnie- I've missed you so much. Are you okay? Where have you been?

He lets go and Y/n walks into his room and sits down on his bed as he follows.

Y/n- I'm fine. Sorry about not responding or anything.

Vinnie- Why were you ignoring me?

Y/n- I came to talk to you last week and when I got here the door was open. I heard your mom talking to you. I heard-

Vinnie cuts her off

Vinnie- You heard her talking about me wanting to move to LA.

Y/n- Yeah

Vinnie- I was going to tell you

Y/n- I don't understand why you didn't.

Vinnie- Because I know you Y/n. You're going to tell me to go even if you don't want me to.

He knows.

Y/n- What? No. If you want to go I'm telling you to go.

Vinnie- It's not just about if I want to or not. What do you want? Do you want me to go and leave you here? You need to be selfish for once.

Y/n- Even if I told you not to go. You would. You have this opportunity. If I had it I would take it. Anyone would be stupid not to.

Vinnie- I know bu-

Y/n- Do it. You'll come visit and I'll go to LA. I would hate myself if I stopped you from leaving.

Vinnie- I just can't imagine leaving you here.

Y/n- I'll be fine. And if I miss you I can just call you or facetime you. I'll even come and hang out with your parents and Reggie.

Vinnie- I love you. I promise this will all be worth it.

Y/n- I hope so. Does my brother know?

Vinnie- Yeah he's actually the one that helped me make the decision.

Y/n- Of course he did. He's secretly trying to keep us away from each other.

Vinnie laughs and grabs his phone.

Vinnie- I guess I'll call Bryce. He told me I should let him know as soon as possible.

Y/n- Okay well I better go so you can call him.

Vinnie- You don't want to stay awhile?

Y/n- Don't you have morning practice tomorrow?

Vinnie- Shit. I forgot. You're right. I'll see you tomorrow?

Y/n- Yeah

Y/n gets up and so does Vinnie.

Y/n wraps her arms around Vinnie's neck and Vinnie places his hands on her waist.

Vinnie- I love you so much. Thank you.

Y/n- I love you too and I'm proud of you.

They hugged for awhile and Vinnie kisses her forehead.

Y/n let's go and starts walking to his door.

Vinnie- I promise we'll be fine

Y/n nods her head as she walks out and closes the door behind her. She walks into the living room seeing Maria and Nate. Maria saw the look on her face.

Maria- He told you didn't he?

Y/n nods her head as Maria gets up and hugs her.

Maria- I know you don't want him to leave. I don't either.

Y/n- Like he said it'll all be worth it.
