It was now Christmas day. Y/n had managed to forget what Ben and that lady said at the mall. After all they she thought they were wrong. Vinnie was being distant, but Y/n figured with baseball being so close she didn't want to bother him.

Y/n woke up and checked the time on her phone.

9:32 am

She gets up and goes to the bathroom. Once she gets out she goes into the kitchen to see her brother sitting at the table drinking coffee.

Brother- There's an extra cup of coffee if you want one

Y/n nods her head and goes and grabs it sitting next to him while she's on her phone scrolling through tik tok

Brother- The Hackers are coming over for dinner today. We're exchanging gifts after.

Y/n looks up at him confused

Y/n- Today? No one told me this

Brother- I thought Vinnie would have told you by now that's why I didn't say anything

Y/n- Well he didn't

Y/n looks down drinking her coffee

Brother- Are y'all okay?

Y/n scoffs and gets up going back to her room

I think we're fine

Y/n sits on her bed grabbing her phone and calling her best friend, Ben.

Y/n- Hello

Ben- Why are you up? It's so early

Y/n- It's CHRISTMASSSSS

Ben- No need to shout through the phone I can hear you perfectly fine

Ben laughs slightly

Y/n- Well can you come by my house and pick up your present

Ben- I'll go later when I'm actually AWAKE okay?

Y/n- Fine go back to bed than

Ben- Muah

They hang up and Y/n starts getting ready. She does her makeup like usual and curls her hair. By the time she's done it is now 12:00.

Y/n is hungry and heads to the kitchen. She grabs some pancakes that were left on a plate and takes them back to her room. She starts watching the new grinch movie (aka the cartoon one). The movie finished and it is now 1:55.

She feels her phone go off.

Ben- I'm on my way!!

Y/n- Kk

Y/n was still in her pajamas and changed into some leggings and a christmas sweater. As she's cleaning up her room her mom yells

Mom- Y/N THAT CUTE BOY IS HERE! I FORGET HIS NAME, BUT I LET HIM IN

Omg my mom is ugh
that's embarrassing

Y/n walks toward the door and sees Ben with a smirk.

Y/n- Can you not? don't say a word.

Ben laughs

Ben- So your mom thinks i'm cute. You know if you won't give me a chance might as well get with your mom.

Y/n rolls her eyes and laughs

Did he really just say that

Okay come let's go to my room. Your present is in there.
