A/N: and I don't usually put trigger warnings on here, but I guess I should start. So. Ahem;

-⚠️Trigger warnings: homophobia, biphobia. To put it bluntly, Teal's dad is not a lad.

Lime's PoV

What Rose did had really shocked me. Then again, what doesn't?...

But... after the talk we had before, I thought she was gonna get better. It was really upsetting, so I couldn't help but automatically find someone to place the blame on.

There was only one possibility for that person, and it was me.

Emerald's PoV:

It was almost lights-out time for the kids, and Peach hadn't came in yet.
She's just in medbay with Rose, I told myself.

Just then, the door quietly swung open and she stepped through, I immediately hopped of my bed and walked towards her.
"I'm sorry for being mean to Rose, I never should have done that and-" I began, but the shorter child shushed me.

"Don't blame yourself" she sighed, splatting herself on her bed. "Just try to be more patient with her from now on, m'kay?"

Nodding, I also got in my bed, pulling the covers all the way up to my chin and squeezing my eyes shut as tight as I could.

Tomorrow is gonna be better, tomorrow is gonna be better... it has to be...

Black's PoV:

Since the kids were all asleep now, we decided to talk about what had happened.

Well, there wasn't much to talk about, what with Teal's dad being, well, Teal's dad... consequently Lime being too afraid to say much in front of him, and Purple more invested in trying to catch my gaze from the other side of the table.

Oh how I missed Orange, I thought, but that just reminded me of the other Orange, the one from the other mission... both their deaths hurt too much to think about, so I ended the discussion.

Cyan grumbled and went off to the other side of the room to get himself some water, Lime went off down the hallway and from the corner of my eye, I noticed Purple making her way towards me. Um... not today, thanks.

I followed Lime down the hallway and that's when I had an idea.

'Try to casually somehow bring up the fact that you and Lime are in a relationship'
Orange had said.
Her advice was helpful...

"Hey, Tommy~" I called to get his attention. I couldn't help but chuckle lightly as he jumped a little.

Turning around, he had a slightly confused look on his face. "H-Hi... what's up with the nickname?"

I quickly shot one glance over my shoulder to check Purple was still headed this way, then pushed Lime against the wall and kissed him passionately.
When I finally pulled away, I asked "do ya think she saw? Purple??"

"I-I-I mean, you k-kinda kissed me right in front of her, so y-yeah?" He adorably stuttered, surprised and confused.

"Yesss!" I exclaimed, relieved. Now she'll understand...

"C-Can you p-please explain what's going on?" Lime asked, but I was too excited right now.
And he was too cute.

"In a min, I promise" I whispered, before kissing him again.

This time, I abruptly stopped as I heard heavy footsteps from behind me.
And there was nobody other than 'Cyan', stood there with a disgusted expression.

"You..." he spat, unable to grasp words. "No. No, this is wrong"

Gulping, Thomas half hid behind me, grabbing onto my arm tightly as Cyan continued.

"Do you do... this... whilst those kids are around? You expose them to it? 'Cause if you do, then they'll grow up thinking that it's normal!" He snarled, "heck, whatever's next? All of them also becoming disgusting gay freaks like you two?"

Unable to stop myself, I mumbled "actually I'm bi"

If possible, his expression became even more horrified than before. "Greedy man. First you want ten kids, now you wanna be able to pick and choose between men and women? As if one wasn't enough" he scoffed. "PiCk A sIdE!!"

I stood definitely. "No. First of all, all of the LGBTQ+ community is valid, we're not 'abnormal'. Second, our sexualities don't influence the children's, they can like whoever they want to like and we will be supportive, as people should be. Also, you can call me names but it won't change me. But it still counts as a hate crime, so I strongly suggest you pipe down."

He stood there for a few seconds, just glaring between Lime and I, looking us up and down.
I didn't know whether he was about to do something or not, and I guess I'll never know because Snow walked in at that point, surprising us all.

"Why aren't you in bed?" Lime softly asked. The child shook his head and whispered something to him.
"He says he can't sleep" he repeated, before the realisation suddenly hit him. "Ah... I forgot his medication" he sighed, looking defeated.

"Stupid man. Too busy making out to take proper care of your kids. Tch."

Just as I was about to say something, Snow wandered a little closer to Cyan, staring intently at some part of the wall.
"N-No" he mumbled. "Cyan s-stop. Keekee say Cyan stop"

Cyan stared in confusion at he little kid, Lime gently led him further away from the other adult and asked him to repeat what he had just said.

Concentrating hard, he tried again. "Keekee? Keeko? Ah... keeko. Ah-kee-koh say be nice."

"Who is this 'Keekee keeko person?" I asked, Lime merely shrugged.

Unexpectedly, Cyan stormed out of the room without another word.

As soon as he was out of sight, Lime hugged me tight. "I r-really don't like him" he tearfully whispered.

"I know, nobody really does" I sighed, reassuringly patting his back. "We shouldn't have to put up with him for much longer, and we'll all survive this chaos somehow. Okay?"

Nodding, he stood back up before declaring "okay Snowster, let's get you to bed, yeah?"

Keekee... Keeko...?

So familiar.........

Yet I can't quite put my finger on it-

A/N: aaaaand there ya go, you can see why I've started the warnings.

Lowkey starting to reconsider whether I've made 'Cyan' too evil or not...

Haha well he definitely doesn't have any kneecaps any more.

See ya~
