Part 44🌸

We walked with Sam's dad into a room. It was a bit awkward at first because no body knew what to say, especially because Olivia and I had never met him, and the others hadn't seen him since they were really little.

I was holding onto Sam's arm, and he had his other arm wrapped around my waist.

Dad- so... it looks like you kids have been through a lot since I've been gone-
Charlie- why are you here?
Dad- because I wanted to see you guys
Sam- but you decided to show up to something that is really important to me. You couldn't have just called or went to our house, but you come here?
Dad- I knew you'd be mad at me, so that's why I came here
Charlie- we are mad at you. You left us for 7 years and said nothing.
Dad- because after your mom and I divorced a was a mess. I got into things I shouldn't have, and I didn't want you to see me like that. I got help, and I'm much better today then I am all those years ago. I want to get to know you kids again, I want to be apart of your lives again... only if you'll let me

Everyone stayed quiet. Then Charlie decided to speak up.

Charlie- fine. But if you do something wrong one time, I'm done.
Dad- that's fine with me
Sam- I guess so...
Dad- Kristy....
Kristy- ....fine
Dad- thank you guys. You are my children and I care about you so much.

They all hugged him for a second and then pulled away.

Dad- Sam and Charlie... treat your girlfriends right, ok? They seem like wonderful girls, and I can tell why you like them
Sam- we will

He said while wrapping his arms around my waist from behind. I smiled and kissed his cheek.

Then Liz and Watson walked in and said that they needed us, so Sam and I walked back to the party room.

Lilliana- that was...
Sam- awkward?
Lilliana- yeah, that's the word
Sam- I don't know how to feel about it. I mean, I get it on some level, but it's still hard, you know?
Lilliana- yeah, I get it. But I'm always here, and you know that. I'm not going anywhere if it's not with you
Sam- this is why I love you

I smiled and held Sam's hand. We walked back in the room with a million people and saw everyone dancing around and talking with each other.

Then I heard someone calling my name so I turned around and saw a face I never thought I'd see here.

Lilliana- Carson!

I ran up to him and jumped in his arms. He laughed and hugged me back.

Lilliana- what are you doing here?!
Carson- I thought I'd come visit you. This is a big day, I thought you'd need your bestie
Lilliana- girl, you're so much taller than me
Carson- we haven't seen each other in years, it's been too long babes
Lilliana- I know, oh my god

Then Sam walks over and says hi.

Carson- ahh, so this is Mr. Loverboy
Lilliana- *laugh* yes. Carson this is Sam, Sam this is Carson
Sam- nice to meet you
Carson- you too. Treat her well
Sam- I will
Lilliana- he does

Carson nods. We all talk for a few minutes to catch up, and then it hits 10:15 pm. Some people started heading out, saying bye to us as they go.

Taylor- bye, Lilli!
Lilliana- bye Taylor, thanks for coming
Taylor- of course! Thanks for inviting me

We hugged and she waved goodbye.

I smiled to myself and looked back at the boys.

Carson- you know you did something right when you're friends with Taylor Swift

I laughed a bit and nodded. We all hung around the party a bit after it ended, and then we all went home.

Later that night I was on FaceTime with Sam.

Sam- what do you want to do on your birthday?
Lilliana- I don't know. I never really thought about it.
Sam- it's the big 16 Lilli! You should do something fun that day
Lilliana- I know, but so much is going on. We're leaving in a couple days, I'm working on my business, I'm going to start working with the BSC girls again, and my birthday isn't the most important thing in the world
Sam- well we're doing something whether you like it or not
Lilliana- *giggle* I'll leave that up to you
Sam- *chuckle* I'm fine with that
Lilliana- of course you are

I got up from my bed and went over to my bathroom. I took my hair out and grabbed a makeup wipe to take my makeup off. Then I turned my camera off so I could change into sweatpants and one of Sam's hoodies.

Sam- babe, why'd you turn your camera off?
Lilliana- cause I'm changing my clothes
Sam- well then hurry up, I want to see you
Lilliana- I turned it off for only a few seconds and you already want it back on
Sam- yeah, I can't resist your adorable face

I giggled and turned my camera back on. I then walked back over to my bed and laid down.

Lilliana- i can't believe we start school in a month
Sam- I can. I'm gonna do football again
Lilliana- really? You never told me you did football
Sam- I do. And you never told me you did cheer. You should try for the Varsity team, Liv is doing it for her senior year you should do it with her. And you'd be cheering for me too
Lilliana- *chuckle* I'll think about it
Sam- I heard they need new flyers and lead tumblers, Olivia said you're good at that
Lilliana- because I used to be one of the smallest girls on the team, that's why I was flyer
Sam- well you were still good
Lilliana- like I said, I'll think about it

He pouts but nods. I chuckled and rolled my eyes playfully. It was really late so we agreed to go to sleep, so we stayed on FaceTime and he waited for me to fall asleep.

Sam- good night my love
