Part 5 🌸

The next day went by pretty fast. I woke up, did my morning routine as usual. Then I waited for Stacey so we could go to school like normal. We talked a bit on the way there. She told me a bit about her new friend Claudia, and I told her about Sam, Charlie and Olivia.

Stacey- they sound pretty nice
Lilliana- oh yeah, they are. I'm the closest with Sam though
Stacey- do you like him?
Lilliana- I don't know... I don't think so
Stacey- mhm, watch, in a couple months he'll be asking you on dates and you'll be kissing under the stars
Lilliana- ew, Stacey!
Stacey- *laughing* what? It's true
Lilliana- we'll see about that

I also told her about the band and she thought it was really cool. A few minutes later we got to her school and I waved goodbye while heading to my school. I got there just as Sam did and I ran up to him.

Sam- hey Lilli
Lilliana- hi!
Sam- I'm so excited for tonight
Lilliana- me too
Olivia- after school do you want to come to my house to help me get ready before you have to leave with Sam?
Lilliana- yeah
Olivia- ok! Well Charlie and I got to go but I'll meet you here
Lilliana- bye!
Charlie,Olivia- bye

They walked away into the school and Sam and I talked a bit. He said that as soon as I hung up the phone yesterday that his mom called this one lady and apparently she was charging so much that his mom asked if she was going to breast feed him. I laughed and Sam did too and then once we calmed down we walked to our home room class. Today we had a test so while we waited to go to class we both studied a bit before we didn't have anymore time left. The bell rang soon after and Sam and I said goodbye like normal and we went to class.

Turns out I knew a lot more on the test than I thought. I'm 99% sure that I got at least a B+. Anyway, I walked to our usual meeting spot and saw Olivia there. She waved me over so I walked to her.

Olivia- Sam and Charlie already left because they knew we weren't going with them
Lilliana- ok!
Olivia- alright! I'm so excited
Lilliana- me too! What is the date?
Olivia- I think we're going to the movies and then after maybe dinner
Lilliana- ok, so something comfy yet pretty
Olivia- sounds perfect! So... how's things with you and Sam
Lilliana- good. He's a really good friend
Olivia- nothing more?

She asked me wiggling her eyebrows at me. I blushed and looked forward as she squealed and jumped around.

Olivia- Lilli's got a crushy
Lilliana- I don't even know if I like him like that
Olivia- when you blushed after I asked that question tells me otherwise
Lilliana- ok... then maybe I do, but he doesn't like me like that, I'm only his best friend
Olivia- how do you know that?! Trust me, when I'm at his house with Charlie, all he ever talks about is you
Lilliana- really?
Olivia- yeah! I think he has a crush on you
Lilliana- I don't know...
Olivia- ok, mission Silli is in check!
Lilliana- mission what?
Olivia- mission Silli. You know, Sam and Lilli... Silli
Lilliana- oh. Oh no...
Olivia- oh yes. And I'll get Charlie in on it so he can ask Sam if he likes you. He's most likely going to tell him other than me
Lilliana- you do that all you want, it's not going to happen
Olivia- we'll see...

I playfully roll my eyes while she laughs at my blushing cheeks. We got to her house and we ran up into her room. I immediately walked into her closet and looked for clothes. After a few minutes of being indecisive, I picked out a cute fitted black top with high waisted dad jeans. She put the outfit on and it looked really good on her.

Then I started with her makeup and did a simple
look, pink shimmery eye shadow, a bit of highlighter, mascara, eyeliner and blush. Then I curled her hair a bit and left it down. Once I was done I looked at Olivia and smiled in success.

Lilliana- I love it
Olivia- me too! I need you to dress me more often

We both laughed and then we heard a car horn from her driveway. We both looked at each other and walked downstairs to see Liz's car in the front. Sam hopped out of the car and Olivia got in.

Lilliana- have fun!
Olivia- I could say the same for you two *wink*
Sam- uhh, yeah... we should get going
Lilliana- bye guys
Charlie- bye Lilli

Sam and I walked away from Olivia's house and walked to Emmett's house. His mom said she would drive us. While walking with Sam, it was completely quiet except for the crickets that you could here because it was getting late.

Sam's hand brushed against mine and I moved my hand away in embarrassment. I felt Sam reaching for my hand as he grabbed it and intertwined our fingers together. I blushed and looked at Sam who was already looking at me. I smiled at him and he smiled back. I looked back forward and kept walking.

Sam- you're hands are really soft
Lilliana- I'll take that as a compliment
Sam- *chuckle* yeah... tomorrow is going to be interesting
Lilliana- it really is...
Sam- Kristy is going to explode.
Lilliana- I'm prepared for it
Sam- you better be

We both laugh a bit and then we make it to Emmett's house. Oliver and Emmett were already sitting outside waiting for us.

Lilliana- hey guys!
Sam- hey!
Emmett- what's that?
Sam- what?
Oliver- uhh your hands...

I looked down and saw that Sam and I were still holding hands. We both quickly let go of each other's hand and nervously laughed. I tucked a piece of hair behind my ear and looked away from the boys. Emmett and Oliver laughed.

Emmett- are you dating or something?
Lilliana- no...
Oliver- well that said otherwise
Sam- if we were dating we'd be kissing not holding hands. Although her hands are really soft
Lilliana- you'd probably be the first people to know if we were dating anyway
Sam- that too

We all laughed. We talked with the boys a bit and then Emmett's mom drove us to see the Carcinogens. Once that was over his mom picked us up and dropped us off at each of our houses. We got to Oliver's first and said bye to him. Then we got to mine I said goodbye.

Lilliana- bye guys! And thank you
Emmett's mom- of course sweetheart!
Lilliana- bye Sam

I opened the car door.

Sam- wait Lilli
Lilliana- yeah?

He lightly held my chin and kissed my cheek. I blushed and smiled at Sam. I waved goodbye and closed the car door. I walked inside my house and closed the front door, leaning against it when I did.

Mom- and why do you look so red?
Lilliana- umm
Stacey- you went out with Sam today right?
Lilliana- yeah...
Dad- who is this Sam kid?
Lilliana- he's just my best friend
Stacey- then why were you blushing so hard once you came in
Lilliana- uhhh he may or may not have kissed my cheek...

My mom and Stacey squealed while my dad looked angry. I guess you could say I was a daddy's girl (not that you nasty 😅). My dad and I were really close and I guess he just doesn't want to see me hurt.

Mom- omg omg omg, when's the wedding?
Stacey- I call being maid of honor!
Lilliana- woah, what?
Dad- she's not getting married, and I don't approve of this Sam kid until I meet him
Lilliana- well tomorrow I'm going to Sam's house for dinner because his moms new boyfriend is gonna be there and he wanted me to be there, so you can drop me off and meet him for a few minutes
Dad- ok.

I playfully rolled my eyes at my dad and hugged my sister and mom and then kissed my dads cheek and walked up to my room.

My dads gonna kill Sam...
