Chapter 47

ELSA

My head ring agonizingly, I hold my head as I open my eyes. I look around and see nothing but flags and pile of snow with the weapons pierce in it. Groaning, the harsh wind's blow feels like it slap me right across the cheek. Standing up, my knees wobble. My whole body is trembling. I realize I am bare footed. It feels soft and slimy underneath my feet. It make me look down what's below me and gasp when I realize who I am stepping on. It's...Jack's lifeless body... and the whole army. I'm stepping on all of them. I cover my mouth, tears rapidly stroll down my cheek. They're all dead.. How could this be? It seems like earlier all of us are battling against the boogeyman.

"Jack!", I am about to bend down to cup Jack's cheeks but suddenly something changed. It is now the face of my father, laying in a hospital bed. Looking around me, I pant. I become nervous and nervous as seconds passes by. 

"I'm sorry Mrs. Arendelle, your husband is dead..he didn't make it. His liver cancer got worst that it got up to his brain. We couldn't save him anymore", I see my mother crying with her palms on her face. She's sobbing very hard. There comes General Moon, he have a very sad expression in his face. He hands a letter, a box containing a badge and a flag to my mother, it make my mother cry more. She cries harder and hugs Anna. Anna looks down, crying as well.

"Why did father and Elsa died at the same...day?",  Anna clenches her teeth and cries more. The doctor excuses himself, walking away from my sobbing mother and sister. General Moon leaves, holding Jack's hat.

What is happening?

When I look back to my father, he isn't there any more. All I see is Jack, getting shot twice in the chest. Blood's coming out from his mouth. He hold his side abdomen, he's stabbed. B-but...I feel like losing my balance, I feel like fainting. Am I dead? Did I died?

"ELSA! WAKE UP! DAMN IT!", a familiar voice echoes the black surrounding. All I see is Jack falling on the ground as our happy memories flashes before me. Tears escapes from my eyes, I bite my lip. "ELSA! IT'S NOT REAL! WAKE UP!!!FUCK THIS!", someone's shouting. Who is it? I look down on my feet and sees myself standing in thin ice. It's cracking below me, ready to devour me any moment. And it did. What's the meaning of life if I already lose everyone including myself?

The thin ice breaks and my body submerges with the cold water. The cold never bothered me in my whole life but this is the first time... I see myself sinking and feeling very cold. I look over my hands, they're freezing. I feel tired, I feel my eyes getting heavy. Oh Jack... 

A light slap wake me up, I open my eyes and sees his cyan blue eyes worriedly looking at me. "Elsa!", he pants and hug me tight. "Thank God you woke up", Jack cries on my shoulder. Was it all a dream?

No, not a dream... but a nightmare?

"J-jack....what's happening?", I ask.

"I used my domain expansion, are you okay? Can you stand up? You fainted", Jack says. He cups my cheeks and kiss my forehead. He then hug me again. 

"I..uh..can", I say.

Jack help me up, I stand up. Then the ugly form of the boogeyman flashes my memory. "Did we defeat him?", I ask.

"We haven't yet. Right now, you and I are inside Sandman's enclosure. I used my power to wake you up.. ", Jack says. I quickly hug him. I feel him flinch before hugging back. Jack kisses my head, holding me tight. "Don't ever do it again to me. Shit, I don't know what will happen to me if you die in my arms"

I blush when he said that. "I'm ready to fight Jack, let's merge our powers to defeat him", I face him and hold his hand. Jack stroke my hair, looking at me straight in the eyes.
