I open my eyes adjusting to the dim, dusty light of my cell and look at the letter that Bellatrix had dropped on the dirty cell floor. I look at the letter debating whether or not to open it. I see a rat scamper to the corner of my cell from the corner of my eye. With that my hand darts out from the shadow I'm sitting in and grabs the letter I tear it open and stare at the words and then I spot my last last name Riddle. (A/N all the things that are in bold is what she is thinking)
yes! it is my letter! Just then my dad comes down the stairs something must be wrong because he never comes down to my cell. I quickly scoot back to the corner of my room as my Father unlocks my cell and tosses a trunk with my supply's for the school year. I look at him as he says
"go upstairs and wash off then change into this." He then passes me a torn up dress "and try to to do something about those bruises and under eye circles" I nod my head yes and scamper up the cold steps my bare feet padding across the wood floor of the upstairs.
"What are you doing up here, pet?!" Bellatrix snarls at me "f-father s-said to c-c-come u-"
"It's fine Bella" Father tells her "Go down the hall until you come across a light blue door, that's the bathroom" He directs me then he gives me a little shove towards the hall.
As I walk past other doors that aren't light blue and here screaming I try to block them out and run the rest of the way to the bathroom. When I get to the bathroom I quickly shut the door and lock it behind me I quickly clean myself off and change my dress. Feeling excited about going to Hogwarts. I run out of the bathroom and accidentally smack into Bellatrix
"Slytherin, remember, pet?" She says as she slaps me across the face, hard too earning a new bruise on my face. I nod and look at my feet "run along now pet you don't want to be late for you're train" she cackles. I then run down to meet my father at the doorway of the house
" Now, when you get to the train station run directly through the brick wall between platforms 9 and 10 to get to platform 9 and 3 quarters ok?"
"Yes Father." I whisper looking down at my feet
"Bye pet! I won't miss you!" Bellatrix yells after me
I look at my feet smiling happy to finally leave my cage they call a house.
