It has been an hour since Barry and Gina had been talking in the kitchen when a little 7 year old climbed out of bed. "Good morning my little fairy,"  Gina said, noticing the small child's presence. She placed a plate of pancakes that had a bit of maple syrup and blueberries and strawberries across the top. The child smiled looking at her grandmother.

Pancakes:

"Yum" she said with a squeal trying to climb the kitchen stool and reach the plate of food but sadly she was still too short to reach and couldn't climb up

"Yum" she said with a squeal trying to climb the kitchen stool and reach the plate of food but sadly she was still too short to reach and couldn't climb up.

Barry laughed and helped the poor girl onto the stool. "You seem excited for pancakes." Marinette looked up to him with a smile and said. "Grandma makes the best pancakes in the world." The 7 year old exclaimed.

Gina just smiled and thanked the girl for her praise.  Before putting a stack in front of Barry, he thanked her and took a bite before taking another Marinette was right these were the best pancakes he had ever eaten.

Barry knew one thing and that was going well to ask for the recipe.

They soon finished eating and Marinette went off to her room to play while Gina did the dishes and Barry's started packing.

In 20 minutes he was all packed up and ready to go back to Central City. He rolled the small suitcase out of the room and brought it to the door.

"Ready to go?" Gina asked "yeah I'll go get Marinette" Barry said going to find his daughter. When he opened the door he saw sketching what looked like dresses and the sketches looked to be done by a professional not a child.

"Did you draw these Marinette?" Barry asked, looking down at his daughter as she coloured in another design. "Yeah, I want to be a fashion designer," she said with a big smile.

"Wow you're really good, do you know how to make clothes?" He asked and she shook her head. "Mama said she would get me a sewing machine for my birthday if I keep practicing and she would teach me." Marinette said tears filling her eyes thinking about her mother.

Barry hugged her and calmed her down with soft and reassuring words, which did the trick after that Barry just asked about her designs not about her mother after it had only been a couple days and it still made the young child cry.

After an hour of waiting for the duo to come down she opened the attic door and came in to see the two having fun and laughing together. Gina didn't want to spoil the father daughter moment so she quietly slipped back down stairs and started to make lunch.
