Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has a rich and esteemed history in the art of wand-making. Many renowned wandmakers have emerged from this institution, along with exceptional witches and wizards who specialize in wandlore across the continent. Notable figures include Shikoba Wolfe, Edison Huxley Fielding, Berit Aphra, Rendwick Keene, Orchid Edenthew, Violetta Beauvais, and the legendary John Torrey. In 1713, the school's Headmaster, Rendwick Keene, who was both a famous wandmaker and Auror, introduced Wandmaking and Wand Theory as an optional course for students in years 2 and above. Additionally, Professor Holly Pickok, the Warlock's Hall custodian and daughter of Professor Ian Hickok, is available to assist with any wand-related concerns or provide a replacement wand at a minimal cost.
