Michael

It's officially been a month since I left L.A to take on this role for The Wiz.

Cooped in my trailer for hours, I lay on the couch submerged in the Scarecrow's makeup.

It took a lifetime to finish it, so eventually, I decided to wear it even when going to bed.

One can only imagine how hard it was to bathe, no hot showers or I'd be melting like one of my co-stars.

Diana was on set filming " Soon As I Get Home" a ballad written by Charlie Smalls, the man that'll be responsible for writing most of the soundtrack.

My favorite so far was " He's The Wizard." A fun scene full of energy, dancing, and stunts. I find myself humming it every once in a while.

I had the chance to watch them film and I look forward to seeing it on the big screen.

Delilah and I said that we'd sneak off to see it together... I'm sure she couldn't be my date to the movie premiere considering how we had to keep our relationship a secret.

Soon it would be time for my first appearance in the movie singing " You Can't Win" the Scarecrow's introduction song.

Defeated by boredom and curiosity I shot up and just as I reached to open my trailer door it swung open revealing Robert's excited face. " Time to shine kid."

I was then directed towards my chair to see if my makeup needed any touch-ups." You ready for this man?" Robert asked for the millionth time.

I rolled my eyes before spotting Quincy and Sidney Lumet conversing.

" Don't worry about them." Robert patted my back as I stood to walk on set. " Plus why listen to a blind bat who couldn't see a star if it fell in his damn hands. Them thick ass glasses." He mumbled to me and I couldn't help but smile.

" Hope you're ready Michael..." Sidney said blandly turning his attention back to the camera.

More than you'll ever know.

...

" Sounds to me fellas like ol garbage guts here done forgot the crow commandments again."

" Fellas, I did not forget the crow commandments, please!- "

" Run 'em by me, run 'em by me."

" Thou shalt honor all crows."

" Right on right on." " Proceed."

" Thou shalt stop readin' all bits of paper and literature."

" Trash! Tra-rash!" " And the most important one?"

" Uh, thou shalt never, never get down off of this here pole."

" You got it, Clyde! And the crow anthem? "

" You got it, Clyde! And the crow anthem? "
