Luke's POV (7th grade)
Welp my parents are yelling at me again for being in a band instead of focusing on school but who cares? I mean sometimes I need some help and I get stuck in my head or whatever but everyone does that not just me. Wait that would be a good lyric. Anyway yeah my parents hate it but it's what I love I just wish there was someone who understood that. Alex and Reg are my best friends and all but they don't really get about how much of an impact music has on my life. I wish I had just one person who was like that that's all.
I ran out of the house to clear head and I guess I lost track of time or something because I ended up in an alley. There wasn't anyone there and it was bright outside so I could everything fine so I decided to stay in the alley for a bit. I started getting bored to I decided to o back home and deal with my parents.
One year later (8th grade)
Ugh! Mom just doesn't get it I've already been in the band for two years now and she still doesn't allow it! I GOING TO FUCKING PUNCH A WALL! Okay I need a walk I'm going back to the alley.
I get there and sit on the ground to try and cool down.
No matter what I CANT UGHHHH! Wait what's that sound?
Voice : 🎶 and it's 1, 2 , 3 , 4 times that I try for one more night
Light a fire in my eyes
I'm going out of my mind🎶
That voice is so sweet and calming. It's like all the negatives went away and the only left is this voice. Who is that angel?
I looked around for the voice and all I saw was a girl passing the alley with long curly hair but she was gone before I could find her.
I came to the alley almost everyday since and everyday I heard that voice. I need to find out who that' is. They're the only one who can calm me whoever they are they're my soulmate.
*Flashback ends*
Luke's POV (present)
We all booked another gig at the coffee shop and Jules wanted to show me a song she and her mom worked on a couple years back. Rose and her always wrote amazing songs when we were younger I love that I remember that now. Anyway I walked into the garage and saw her doodling on her jeans again.
Me : damn princess I'm hurt you didn't even notice I was here
Jules : oh shut up now come over here
Me : say no more
I walked over to the piano and sat down next to her as she fiddled with her notebook trying to find the song. Whoever she's looking for something or is laser focused she always wrinkles her nose which is honestly one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Once she finds the page she's reads it then closed the notebook
Jules : okay so ever since mama and I wrote this song I've sang nonstop ever since middle school. I hope it's not too cheesy or too girly or anything
Me : you're a star Jules I'm sure it's amazing
Jules : phew okay here we go
J : dont blink no I don't wanna miss it
One thing it's back to the beginning
Cause everything is rushing in fast
Keep going on never look back
And it's 1,2,3 4 times
That's I try for one more night

Holy shit. Th- that's the song! The alleyway voice that's it! She's was the voice that calmed my nerves the voice I held dearly to my heart it was here this whole time!! Wait but that means...
Me : Uh Jules
Jules : yea lukey?
Me : um what would you say if I told you I think were soulmates?
Jules : um what have you hit your big ass forehead on
Me : Har har anyway remember the alley I took you to
Jules : yeah what about it?
Me : Well that song was the song I always heard when I was there
Jules : Me? You heard me?
Me : Yes Jules you were the one thing that kept me from punching something or someone all those years. It was you it always has been
Jules : Awe love story vibes
Me : You're so odd crackhead
Jules. : but you love me for it
Me : oh do I
Jules : Yep.
Me : Hmm I don't think so
Jules : *smirk* how bout now
I gave her a confused face when she jumps onto me and starts giving me kisses everywhere on my face
Me : Okay okay chill!
Jules : haha I win
Me : yes princess yes you do
Jules : alright well bye
She gets off me and starts walking towards the door
Me : hey what about me? I want more cuddles and kisses and hair playing pwease 🥺
Jules : you're lucky you're cute
Me : yay!
Me : Does this also mean I get to see your prom dress now
Jules : nice try
Me : Buwwy
