Whispering tears as I cry
So I don't wake the dead
Silent gun against my head
Perfect beginnings and happy endings
Played up on the movie screen
Too bad it's not real
It was my favorite scene
Hallucinations of you
Everywhere I see your face
Trapped in this nightmarish place
Painful sensations
Have some sort of fascination
I like the way you used to sing
A sweet song to put me to sleep
But the hardest part of it
Is when the song ends
Is that what you intend?
I can't believe
I let you break my heart
Now I'm back at the start
Thoughts of you changing
Were dismissed
I'm glad my sadness is entertaining
Then I was dreaming
I woke up in time
Just to see you leaving
It's like you're still there
But your mind is somewhere else
Have you gone insane?
Because he's no longer here
You're a different person
Than from what I'm used to
Screaming and cursing
Is all you would ever do
Did you notice our tears?
Did you ever care?
