Clinging onto the unpleasant memories
Ignoring the times when I was smiling
Take a good look at me
You crossed a line that I avoid to find
You express how you want to die
When you get a chance
You run for your life
You've been mixing up the wrong emotions
It caused an explosion
And now I'm back from where I started
You're wonderful
You've been here before
I'm a liar who's too trusting
I built the fire up too high
Too late to put it out
They already seen all the smoke
My failure is showing
And it's my fault
Beautifully broken
The unique thing about me
Is the sizes and shapes of every piece
I'll be a better person
When you come to think of it
I have no more "let me repeat that again"
And a few more "I'm giving up on them"
But I'm not afraid
I can make it on my own
I've been here before
I know these roads
When you thought you were lifting me up
You were bring me down
When you thought it was a smile
It was a frown
I didn't make it like you said
Fire has fueled within me
I'm only seeing red
What are you good for?
And what am I?
Neither of us will make it
We might die
How great will that be?
At least we tried
