Before the sun goes down
And I fall to the ground
Could you run to me
And save me in time
What if it's already too late?
And I've run out of days
To have the chance to change
What if I'm overpowered
By the malice
You've become the coward
What if you stabbed my heart?
Would that save me
And give me a new start
From where I stand
I see you do things
That I can't
You always keep in mind
Your hope is always on time
Stealthily
It reaches out
Slowly
It lessens the insanity
Don't let it have control
Or I'll end up six feet
Underground
Far and deep
Where no one
Can hear me scream
I can't win this fight
I never wanted it this way
Not for you to see me cry
I have this voice
That keeps whispering
"Please don't wake
You must keep dreaming"
So I stay asleep
It keeps the true nightmares away from me
As long as it saves me
Me and the anxiety stay apart
It could save my heart
