Poison runs through your veins
The fire in your eyes burst into flames
I almost loved you
Until I saw that the sweet side of you
Wasn't true
I've been meaning to tell you this
Get it off my chest
I can't do it anymore
What am I here for?
A trigger for your anger
So you can lift the world off your shoulders
Seething words create strife
Your glare is worst than any knife
I don't need you
Wasting away my life
Open hearts and open minds
Leads to an invitation for destruction
To get your satisfaction
I won't doubt your actions
I love to break out the truth
I'm something without you
I've never seen this clear
Now that you're not here
You kept me blinded by rage
Made everybody think
That I was insane
I know
I have no control
For a long time there
You locked me in despair
I'm happy that you're gone
I finally see what went wrong
