Or maybe I'm just going crazy
Is that a gleam in your eye?
Or maybe I'm hallucinating
Lovers discovering new things
A knife in the back
Defeats the purpose of loyalty
The lies went straight through your rotten teeth
You dirty bastard
You're really in too deep
A sip of the bottle
Isn't enough to make your mood go down
It'll surely make your anger rise up
With just the right amount
Say it with me
"I'm sorry for overstepping my boundaries"
You got to a point
That I didn't even know existed
This feeling in my stomach is suspicion
Maybe I thought I deserved better
Than what I trusted you to give me
The sour taste in my mouth won't go away
You have the breath of a cigarette
You reek with the smell of a liquor store
How can you be so adored?
Am I seeing clear?
Or are you blocking my view
Of who you really are
These blood stained sheets
Blend in perfectly with the red roses
Someday's I'm planning your death
Other days I want to get away with you
Where no one knows us
I like you better
When some of your words were new
Shut your mouth in the moment of truth
Time doesn't matter anymore
Sneak out the window when it runs out
And comes knocking at the door
But don't come back for me
Imagine that I'm far too out in the sea
To where you cannot reach
But at least I'm free
