A hundred pages of unrequited love
So I'll decide when I've had enough
Holding my breath until the dice stops rolling
Exhale when snake eyes are showing
Please explain to me honestly
Your emotions toward me
I've been running
And I can't feel my feet
I hope this is all a dream
Maybe I can ring the bell on this continuous match
Close the door and secure the latch
Your mysteries are in the ocean
You must be joking
Pass me an unsigned note tied to a brick
Identifying you is insignificant
Run straight to the entrance
Before I forget to mention
That I thought I heard a crash
Must have been the sound of our friendship smashed
Picture perfect can't fit inside the frame
Exposing everything
You don't have anymore players to play your game
Maybe I can get through all the rounds
With all I have
Call time out on my behalf
You've got me walking down a dangerous path
Stirring up all kinds of emotions I didn't know I had
But I go on
Without acknowledging the show
I'm satisfied with what I know
Taking my own advice
It'll have to suffice
Sell me out
Prove to me that you weren't devout
I don't need sleep
I need you to reassure me
How wrong could I be?
Don't act like you don't know what I mean
Scrutinizing for the correct words
The bridge has already burned
We don't have the tools to rebuild
It was nice while it was upheld
