"How much have you packed?" Clay asked the younger girl. 

"Pretty much everything, I just have no fucking clue how I'm going to get it there."

 "I'm telling you, moving trucks are the way to go!" He said, falling back onto his bed. 

"Yeah, but that's an 18 hour drive that I don't want to force onto someone." She groaned in annoyance. 

She heard Clay shuffle from the other side of the phone. 

"What are you doing?" She asked. 

He was silent for a few minutes before speaking again/ 

"Okay, you have movers that will be there at 8 AM tomorrow."

"What?!" She shrieked. 

"Okay, go to sleep. You need to be up early."

Nicole pressed her lips together. "But I still wanna talk to you."

Clays eyebrows shot up even though she couldn't see him. Then, a frown played on his lips. 

"But you need to sleep." 

"But I want to talk to you." 

"Fine, I'll stay on the phone as long as you lay down and try to sleep." 

Nicole smiled widely. "Deal."

The girl crawled into her bed and plugged in her phone before taking it in her arms and cuddling with it.

Nicole awoke to her phone dinging. She groaned and stretched before looking over at her clock to see it was 6 am.

She grabbed her phone and opened it, clicking on her most recent notification.
