Mishti P.O.V.

I have given interview in 2 firms for the position of Assistant Chief Financial Officer and is hoping for a positive reply. In my father's firm I was at position of Chief Financial officer by my own hard work.

I know any firm will not give me straight away position of CFO. So I applied for assistant CFO.

After having evening tea I open my laptop to read some mails and answer them. Even if I resigned from my father's company he still keeps sending me some mails regarding company's finance. I got a mail from firm where I gave interview. And it says I can join from next week.
My happiness knew no bound the firm is not doing so good from past 1 year and it needs some brilliant people like me.

I just want to call Abir and tell him this news. When we are face to face we talk less what will I say to him on call??

But atleast I can call and ask him about his whereabouts. It's time to surprise my darling hubby. So I call him on last ring he picked up I think he was startled by my call and was battling should he pickup or not.

"Abir aap kaha hai?" Of course in Red pear travel on his director's chair Mish what silly question is this.

"Office me, ghar pr sb thik hai na "

Now why this question can't your wife call you just because she wanted to hear your voice.

"Sb thik hai aap jldi ghar aaeye na plz"

Did I sound desperate?? If yes then it's ok because I want to share this news with him as soon as possible.

"Actually aaj jyada kuch kaam nhi hai so I am coming home JLDI "

He stressed on word Jldi just to tease me but I am not angry on him, I am enjoying this.

"Ok"

I remember our first meet in my house when Rajvansh family came to talk about our alliance.

Awkward silence was there and out of the blue he said

"I am Abir Rajvansh"

"Mishti Maheshwari here"

"I want to work even after marriage, currently I am working in my father's firm but I have applied for other jobs too"

He chuckled and said

"I will not say no, I am ready, I am not that narrow minded person. My mother is herself a working woman she has her own business right"

I was making coffee for both of us till then bell rang and I know who it was.

Abir went to freshen up while I took coffee for both of us to my room and again he came out shirtless.
