Chapter 11, Deals

Hailey's POV

I rise up at the sound of my alarm. I was excited to start working at Brown Technology Industries. I need to put it to prove that's where I belong. Father doesn't understand, i'm where I need to be. I dress in a grey a frame dress, with a dark grey blazer. I put on black flats, I don't want my feet to hurt. I walk down, drink some juice bite some butter toast.

“Good morning, Hailey. Where are you going?” I smile at Anna brightly,

“Going to work at Brown Technology Industries.  i'm excited about this job.” Anna shakes her head, then with a frown she says.

“Why can't you work as a PA at your father's firm?” Now I shake my head,

“I may be a PA right now. This type of business, there's a lot of room to  grow.”

 I state cheerfully. I finish my breakfast, heading towards my car. I drove towards the company. I was in a good mood. I arrive about twenty minutes later at the company. I went up to the executive suite where May was cheerfully and patiently waiting for me.  I also greeted her, and we started the routine of what she does, including  getting coffee for Andrew. May has me take the coffee to him. I knock on the door,

“Come in.” Andrew's husky voice calls out, I quietly walk in carrying his coffee. I gently sat the cup on his desk,

“Your  coffee sir. May I have a quick word?”  Andrew looks up from his laptop. With a smile,  he motion for me  to sit down. After that I clear my throat,

“What's gong on?” Andrew asks softly, with great interest.

“Andrew, my father is trying to separate me and Matt. He wants me to start seeing Hunter. I don't like him like that. I have a feeling today when he meets with you, i'm sure he'll try to make some kind of deal.” Andrew furrows his brows, then he clears his throat.

“I'll let him speak out of respect, what you do here is my business.  i'm on your side regarding you and Matt. i'll help you in anyway I can.” I nod, as we end the conversation. I head back to my desk, I started to go over the documents, that Andrew would go over after his meeting with my father. Ten minutes later,  my father and Barry walk up to our desk. I smile at them,

“Good morning gentlemen. Are you here to speak with the Brown brothers?” My father and Barry Anderson smile, I place the call. After a few moments, I turn to them.

“Come with me.”

 I get up motioning for them to follow. I lead them to Andrew's office. I knock on the door, then after hearing entrance I open the door. The two men walk in. I close the door behind me.

Andrew's POV

Hailey closes the door, I knew it was ShowTime. We went over the legal issues, afterwards I and Matt waited to see what Carson would do. We didn't have to wait long. Carson clears his throat,

“Andrew, there is some issues I need to discuss with you.” I cross my legs, sitting back in my chair.

“Go ahead. i'm listening.” I say sternly, giving Matt a knowing look. Carson begins to speak,

“Matt, I know you have dated Hailey for a year. But I would like to request for you to walk away from Hailey.” Matt frowns for a few minutes,

“May I ask why? i've been with her for over a year. Is Hailey up for that?” Carson lowers his head, which tells me that Hailey wasn't too keen on the idea.

“She's not really happy about it. The reason I suggested she date both of you for awhile.” Matt shakes his head,

“Again I ask why? I wouldn't of married her if I didn't ” Barry continues the conversation,
