It's hard to tell someone else's story without telling your own. That story was Alice Variet's and Daniel Preten's story. The story of the typical bad boy and good girl. The bad boy interested in the good girl and the bad boy eventually winning her. But this is not her story. Well it is. Because I'm telling her story. But I'm also telling mine. Being black, wearing glasses and having the image of a good girl means that being these two's best friends is no easy feat, especially when everything has changed when Alice came back. People change. As I sit in the room, I ask myself. Why can't I be in a group like the others? To be in a conversation? I ask myself as I sit in the room.

I glared at him. "Well excuse me for being human." I sighed. "I just want to be like her too. I want to be able to be brave and beautiful and smart. I don't want to be on the sidelines anymore and watch everyone else take action and change the world and get everything they want." "Then don't." I glanced at him. "What do you mean?"
