"You'll pay for keeping me captive here. When my father finds me, you'll be forced to watch all your friends die in front of you, before finally you're granted the mercy of an execution." Dakasi threatened. She pulled at the chains that held her wrists together. The metal braces were uncomfortable, and she could really use a stretch at the very least. "Are you really in a position to make threats, Princess?" Kantori taunted. She smirked and knelt in front of the Vampire, holding a dagger to her throat. "I'll have you know that in this sanctuary, the only person afraid of your father; is you." She informed Dakasi. "Why... You ignorant fool! I am not afraid of my father!" Dakasi snapped. "Oh? It didn't seem that way when you were begging your brother to come home, for fear your father would kill him if he didn't." Kantori countered. "You're only saying this because you don't have a father. You'd understand how a father's love, and discipline, works if you did." Dakasi scoffed, holding her chin up. "Really? Is that so? Because I seem to recall plenty of love and discipline from my mother. As well as patience and wisdom, though your father clearly lacks those qualities." Kantori mused. With that, Dakasi growled in frustration, and moved the chain behind Kantori's neck. With her arms wrapped around the half elf, Dakasi managed to push Kantori down. Unfortunately the chains on the harness she was strapped in kept her from getting close enough to harm Kantori, but due to the pinned position, it was close enough for both of their hearts to race. *** Dakasi Winters is the Princess of an Elven Kingdom. When the kingdom is taken over by Vampires, and her own father kills her mother and unites himself with enemy forces, all control is taken from Dakasi's life. Forced to appease her father, Dakasi longs for the opportunity to escape her dark and immoral life. Perhaps a half elf rebel is her key to do exactly that.
