"The garden was enclosed, several bamboo fences and thick stone walls rose up around the resplendent landscaping. To many, a symbol of privacy and purity. To Ikelos, the walls were built from shame." This is a short tragedy loosely inspired by Madeline Miller's "The Song of Achilles." This five thousand word short story took me three days to write of which I am very proud of but which may explain any mistakes throughout the book. Enjoy!
