The government believes we are not physically able to take care of our own minds. Only a few people feel the pain of an overwhelming sadness and when they do they suddenly go missing. The government only wants happy people in this world. With only happiness do we thrive. How far will the government go to sustain our world. Setting (statement or explanation of development): Set in what would be modern time today but different from now. It's more of like a dystopian political society. Our world has turned into this because back when the government started realizing that the human race was sick( in the head) they took out the bad and started over and over and over and over. They will keep starting over until we fix ourselves. Character List with descriptions of roles they play within story: Protagonist:Sage- A beautiful 17 year old girl who shouldn't have a care in the world that is until the people she loves start dropping like flies and coming back as different people. She decides to find out what is going on no matter the risk. Antagonist: The government- The ruler of the society we live in. They control all of your thoughts and have the power to reset the way you think if you are suspected as impure. Only the government knows what's best for everyone, at least that's what everyone always says. Additional Character: Issac- A handsome 17 year old who just happens to be dating Sage. He has been sad since he was a young boy but has a good way of hiding it. He can't let anyone in, even sage but when the world starts falling apart his sadness might be the one thing that keeps them together. Additional Character: Anna Miller- The careless best friend to sage. They've known each other sense 1st grade and are 17 years old now. Is vulnerable without her best friend by her side.
