On her birthday she felt it, she was connected to Ryan. His robot burned up but that opened the connection between them and she knew she had to help him even if she didn't know how. Ryan felt lost when he lost the robot as if a part of him was destroyed with it. He still had his friends and his brother but he's never felt more alone then he did in that moment.
