Living my life just the way I should be. Got a fairly well paying job in New York, Going to university and having my own nice little unit. Well that was my life anyway. I know things that barely anyone knows. I know what lurks in the darkness. I didnt have a choice. I was minding my own buissness when I see something move in the shadows. Like everyone else I just dismissed it as my imagination. Boy. Was I wrong. This.......this creature attacked me. It was pure black and shaped like a strange, limping, disfigured being. It grabbed me. It dragged me. I gave up. Until as if out of nowhere a boy kills the horrid beast. He doesn't say anything and leaves, leaving me shocked scared and confused. After the confusion begins to clear another person comes to me. His name is Maxwell and he asked if i was attacked? He says that people dont know the incredibly dangerous world they live in. He claims to be whats known as a 'Shadow Hunter'. Thus I am introduced to the real world. Maxwell explains that's it's incredibly rare for a shadow to not kill its prey. I tell him I was saved. He says that none of the shadow hunters in New York were around the area at all. Now not only am I apart of the secret world of Shadow Hunters but I also have no way of finding who saved me. My name is Chloe. And I'm part of the real world.
